This is what I received from a client care manager yesterday:
Livingston experienced select operational system issues resulting from its response to a cyber-attack. This has temporarily affected our ability to transmit data, and has resulted in a delay and temporary backlog of entry processing at the border. As a result of our recent security upgrades, this attack was quickly contained; we took the select servers offline and now are securely bringing these servers back online. We anticipate that as of Tuesday, August 2nd (afternoon) we will be able to process shipments and begin working down the backlog. Our current priority is to resume normal operations. We are working with expert third parties to investigate this attack.
We are working in concert with CBSA and CBP, and have employed a contingency plan that will allow for the manual clearance of goods on a priority basis. At this time, we continue to investigate the impact to our systems, but we do not believe any information will need to be resubmitted. At Livingston, our client data is of paramount importance, We employ strong standards of quality and security to protect your data. We have no evidence at this time that your data has been compromised; however, as always, you should be vigilant with respect to your own IT security.
