Livingston International

As a previous broker having open and detailed communication with our customers, it was not hard to explain the simple 'expectations' for cross border shipments - some exceptions apply.
There is an expectation that a shipment is set upto cross 2 hours after paperwork is received by any customs broker. Should a driver arrive to the border after this time we would allow 1 HOUR maximum for the driver to get through, any time beyond that (which is caused by a delay of the customs broker handling their piece of the puzzle) is billable. Yes there would always have to be the proper calls, and notifications at whatever interval the client wanted. I never really had any pushback.

Keep well,
Mike

I charge clients at the rate of $50 per hr at the border after 2 hoirs of waiting time.

Livingston always wins the game for their client and we get the extra cash.

But the truth is I have refused almost all of the freight that shows Livingston on it.

Better stay home

When you spend your evening with Livingstons and heard that looping ad about "are your tired of checking of your shipments...call us"....you just want to tell the poor call person to find another job.

Trying to hear what their saying over the rooster's crowing in the background is a nice added touch LOL
Roosters Crowing! haahaha... That's quite an image!

I checked with my dispatchers here and indeed, Livingston has quite a reputation!

Driver waiting for entry number since 10:16 am - this is the first customer Ive ever had that is proud to have Livingston as their customs broker?

I have a Bonduelle factory next door from my yard. They work with Livingston and I haul Zero freight for them.

Is everyone having difficulty getting hold of Livingston? Been calling since yesterday and no answer. Emails are bouncing back saying all their mailboxes are full.
