Everyone needs to find better brokers/shippers to work with.

Fortus gave me a rate of 1100$ cad ON to NC van... about $1.30 a mile

Not sure what O/O or transport companies do their loads for them with those rates but soon those transport companies will go out of business!!

Just read their google reviews, it says it all who they really are.

That is just Fortus being Fortus. It didn't change when the rates were up and it won't change now.

I don't know if this is still the case, but not that long ago, many carriers would go empty from ON, PQ to Florida with reefers during the season there. So, $2500 is a real gravy. It's all relative. Also, NOBODY forces anybody to haul anything if the rate is too low!

All year around lowest rates and I found out they cut good junk from carriers paycheque , they use every kind of excuse!!

I'm not current on this lane.
Is this a single load that is impossible to move as there's no capacity and the shipper has called everyone in their rolodex because they are desperate to move it (at any price), or are they looking to pay $100 less than the last load which moved for a rate that doesn't cover the cost of fuel on the lane?

That rate has nothing on it compared to reefer or haz loads in AL AR and TX
