CAT Global Inc

Good afternoon, just wondering if anyone has received any payments or communication from CAT Global recently? We are trying to reach them since the start of this month and there has been no luck getting a hold of them. Along with that, none of their payments are coming through.

Watch out
*REV (I guess some others too) not factoring them.
*Multiple carriers owed thousands (no answers from A/R)
*A dispatcher friend said could not even get a hold of any brokerage staff

I was told last week I would get a payment Monday for a load 60 days and did not receive anything. Emailed again and they said it would be paid today and still nothing. Just not to long ago they would pay within 30 days and would never need to do a follow up with them.

I contacted these emails and was paid the next day on all outstanding invoices.
Same here. This was the only contact in CAT Global that actually responded and sent proof once they processed the payment. Payment was processed the same day to us and received the next day by our factoring company.

Any Recent Experience with them?
We have invoices over 120 days now
They don't answer phone calls and Emails !

Based on Link posting thinking CAT is having a hard time finding folks to haul for them. Shame as we used to do quite a bit for them but between dropping the rates to unsustainable levels and then taking 90-120 to pay. Things don't seem to be good in Cote Du Lac. Will we see the repo depot at the door is the next question on them.

That's probably because they are offering abysmal rates, 1.75/mile is their offering on any lane if not less

Think I've written this somewhere else but I'll post it again.

We compete with them on 1 account.

Basically just us and them on spot board X-border stuff. From my rough math, 50-60% of the loads that they are take, are break evens at best. Customer tells us low bids, what they covered cover it for etc.

The one plant in particular has a out there shipping point, only so many trucks to pull from. We are calling up the same guys for rates, one of them is my buddy so he'll tell me what CAT gives it them for. When you compare the 2... it's usually isn't good.

That's nuts, they should restructure their company for sure, otherwise the ship will sink lol

I don't see many other brokers out there offering better rates, or should I say the brokers we have had experience with. Should I name them all, but rates are pathetic! We have to pull teeth to try and get $2.20/mile and even then we are outbid. Never seen rates like this and it is concerning seeing that Insurance costs have doubled, fuel is increasing, we are taxed on tax on tax on tax...the taxes we pay is ridiculous from IFTA, to Carbon Tax, Heavy Highway Tax, Weight Distance, Transponders have doubled this year, Scale costs have increased, Driver pay is demanding a certain rate per mile, WCB, higher interest rates, ELD's dictate how long you can drive...the costs are endless, so when Brokers offer $1.75/mile...who is making the real money here...NOT the Carriers. Just my rant for the day!
