Think it means his team got treated like ass by CAT even though CAT messed up, and received no compensation for the abuse.

If that is indeed what that end bit means, then all I can say is I hope you leave a review on that branch of C.A.T and hopefully that will do something (unlikely but maybe)

There was a rough patch for the entire industry for a bit, but as far as i'm aware (at least for my office) we should be caught up and good for everything going forward.
A few branches closed and many people were let go, but we are on the rebound.

We did couple of shipments. One got paid at 55 days. We did not had to contact them. Received by EFT without any follow up. second is around 28 days and will update once get paid.

offensively low rates seems to be the norm these days...it's crazy! Carrier costs have increased substantially (Insurance, WCB, fuel, taxes, wages, heavy highway taxes, IFTA, Carbon Tax, Weight Distance Taxes, ELD's, PrePass, tolls, Health Benefits, truck and trailer payments, plates and registration, trailer washouts, repairs and maintenance, scale tickets...etc...and yet we are expected to haul for $2.00 to $2.75/mile?? I have never seen rates slashed like this, never! Boy, its tough out there these days. I sure hope things change.

08-09 offering a buck a mile max and going too get worse before it gets better if it ever does again. Auction yards and the Repo depot filling up fast..

If your invoices are with their Canadian company probably they will not have a surety company, if they are with their US subsidiary, they will have a surety (bond), but chances are that if your load originated in a Canadian shipper for delivery somewhere in the US, the claim probably will be rejected since surety companies do that all the time with the excuse they are excepted from paying loads from Canada to delivery in the USA. However if the load picked in the USA and was delivered anywhere in Canada, bond companies will pay for it at least that the load is one of the few excepted type of freight which I don't know specifically, so if you load was picked in the US let me know and I'll look for the name and address of their Surety company for you.

Then you are the only one. Their payments went for a poop as did the rates have not pulled a load in probably a year for them because of this and I used to work with them weekly. Glad you are still having a good relationship.
We also have not had any issue on payments or loads. Currently 39 days and rates are fair

No issues with pay lately since they got the kinks out of their new system. Only issue is the quantity of the pay.. Great freight for us, bad rates.
