CAT Global Inc

Thanks for the message @hrb604 . I will email this guy. See what he says.

I have 4 open invoices with CAT currently. Ranging from 22-280 days.
I am surprised you would have taken the load 22 days ago if you had receivable over 250 days at that point. Did that just slip through? That is a very old invoice. I wouldn't have taken anything from them at this point.

Now close to 100 days without payment. Any further insight available on how to collect this invoice other from what was noted in previous posts?

File against their bond? Not sure if that is a possibility or how to start that process.

No they don't. I was told by AP that they were moving buildings which has caused internal issues...blah bah...not sure if that is the case though.

We emailed Stefan and got paid pretty quickly, he did mention they were having some internal issues with invoices being lost or skipped but we have not had any issues since.

We just added them to our DNU list for the following reasons:
1. Invoices are aging for 90 days plus;
2. Communication issues - they do not respond to our emails and voice messages. Been trying to call them for the last couple of weeks; no one picks up the phone, literally no one, A/P, Dispatch, Operations, Sales, no one, all calls goes to voice messages with no further response.

Have no idea who would want to continue dealing with them when you can't simply speak to a live person

That is exactly what is happening with us. Since posting, we were able to secure additional email contacts and hopefully one of them will acknowledge receipt and assist. We are getting close to the point of submitting a file to Loadlink re: "Non Paying Brokers"

same, we just received payment but its weird how no one from their company is commenting on why or what the delay is. Current trend is they pay but they hold the payments for about 60-80 days avg for us. But I wonder if it will get worse from here.

One of worst brokers . Slow payer . Never pay waiting time . And garage freight . Stay away from them . Cancel loads all the time , no calls just send a cancelled fax

Here is the person who should be taking care of this matter:
cceccolini@catglobal.ca
(800) 363 5313 ext. 6371

I would suggest
Go on linkedin
Do a search with CAT Global
Go on the company page
Click person
Then you have a sh** tons of contacts, including VPs and carrier relationship managers.
Take the name down, send emails - all same domains.

That's usually does the trick. 280 days - doesn't make sense. Involving ALL the higher ups, including owners, on the email chains....guarantee it will get the job done.
I used to work there 10 years ago. The main contact there is Jayson Martineau. He is the most senior on the brokerage side and works in the Toronto and Quebec office. Sandra would be the next person down if you can't reach him.

With that said CAT Global Toronto was always a very high expense broker. They pay their employees really well and rent offices in downtown Toronto. The asset side is probably also feeling it with the slowdown, so money must be tight. This was my experience when I was there 10 years ago, but from what I can see on social media they haven't changed much.
