No silly you get to pay it back when the banks have to increase charges to trucking companies as we are all now high risk clients. JS just doing us all another favor like he did back in 08 with his Ultramar antics. No Mr Salesman we are fine dump a load at each yard. Monday morning dropped the bankruptcy ppwk and all us 30 day accounts went to 7..So the debt that the whole PGL/T-Pine crew owes, what happened to that? Is it just magically gone now that T-pine is shutdown and PGL is sold back to the original owners?
as we are all now high risk clients.
And they still get to keep doing it, that's the most ridiculous part.Oh yeah, good luck getting financing on any new equipment, heard many banks are pulling out of this sector or requiring 20-25% down ,personal guarantees and cross-collateralization even to review the files. This group has f**ked this industry directly and indirectly.
just spent a pile on equipment this year ( 4 trucks and a few trailers) no issues getting the money but sure would like the rates up to pay for the shit,Oh yeah, good luck getting financing on any new equipment, heard many banks are pulling out of this sector or requiring 20-25% down ,personal guarantees and cross-collateralization even to review the files. A truck breaks, that'll be cash please for that part.
Tow yards are going to expect cash or credit card on call.
Fuel? is anyone giving them any sort of credit for that... hard to believe.
Customers are going to slowly dwindle business with them. The only ones who will take them on, it will be a for a massive discount. Just more blood
Everything about running a business is going to be at least twice as hard for them.

I think that is what will likely happenchances are "PGL" will get shutdown in name, but another company will be running their equipment, freshly rebranded.
Doesn’t matter what “name” they operate under, doesn’t change the management and the mentality. No one will forget what happened here.chances are "PGL" will get shutdown in name, but another company will be running their equipment, freshly rebranded.
They will still be used by most brokerages as a lot of them just want a truck at cheapest price and based on comments around here PGL seems to work cheap.Doesn’t matter what “name” they operate under, doesn’t change the management and the mentality. No one will forget what happened here.
The B.R. Smith theory, haul it cheap but haul lots of it.They will still be used by most brokerages as a lot of them just want a truck at cheapest price and based on comments around here PGL seems to work cheap.
