Pride Group - TPine

So the debt that the whole PGL/T-Pine crew owes, what happened to that? Is it just magically gone now that T-pine is shutdown and PGL is sold back to the original owners?

No silly you get to pay it back when the banks have to increase charges to trucking companies as we are all now high risk clients. JS just doing us all another favor like he did back in 08 with his Ultramar antics. No Mr Salesman we are fine dump a load at each yard. Monday morning dropped the bankruptcy ppwk and all us 30 day accounts went to 7..

I'm not sure they will survive another year, couldn't happen to a more deserving group

Oh yeah, good luck getting financing on any new equipment, heard many banks are pulling out of this sector or requiring 20-25% down ,personal guarantees and cross-collateralization even to review the files. This group has f**ked this industry directly and indirectly.
And they still get to keep doing it, that's the most ridiculous part.

just spent a pile on equipment this year ( 4 trucks and a few trailers) no issues getting the money but sure would like the rates up to pay for the shit,

Good operations can get money, like yours.

No one is going to touch pride with a 1032032130312 foot pole.

A truck breaks, that'll be cash please for that part.
Tow yards are going to expect cash or credit card on call.
Fuel? is anyone giving them any sort of credit for that... hard to believe.

Customers are going to slowly dwindle business with them. The only ones who will take them on, it will be a for a massive discount. Just more blood

Everything about running a business is going to be at least twice as hard for them.

I give it til summer 2025 and they are done again.

I wonder how that will go for them, last time I heard they stopped maintaining trucks on their full maintenance rental plans. Sounds like a breach to me but I'm no lawyer man. Either way, they can do whatever they want as a last-ditch effort to save their sinking and burning ship but I dont see them holding out too long, especially that side of the business.
