I felt bad for that guy.

I believe he was just a driver but he had drank the kool-aid that's for sure.

Hopefully he gets his full pay at the end of it all.

I remember this guy, like somehow we we're all sitting around upset and crying that Pride was doing good. I can assure you its not doing as well as this guy is trying to make everyone believe.
Get a life bro . Iam happy and iam not looking at someonez work.Even if pride is not in business i can do good in my life as i believe in myself not looking to bad mouth someone sitting on chair typing weird shit abt someone.i just mind my own business

There have been court decisions ruling in favour of owner-operators if they worked for one company 100% of the time. Just like employees, director was personally liable to pay them.

To be honest, this whole Pride thing is quickly becoming old news. Unless you work there, are owed money from them or have some other personal or financial interest in their future…..who cares? Like them or hate them, they were around before their financial crisis and it appears they will be around after. They are not the first large transportation company to undergo stress, failure or restructuring and they certainly won’t be the last. Approve or disapprove of their business model, there is little anyone can do about it and to some degree, it has been approved by the courts, so perhaps it is time to move on to bigger and better things.

Spot on loaders.

I think most of us disagree with the decision the court made. Here lately... I seem to have more and more trouble relating to and understanding the decisions our country's judges are making.

That said... I tend to hold a grudge and remember things like the Pride fiasco.

I'll never do business with them as long as they are under that leadership.

Especially if they undercut you at your customer and are allowed to keep doing loads for nothing after everything that happened.

I'm not sure I stood up for the Canadian flag and sang the anthem close to 3000 times.

I strongly believe the judge was paid somehow thru relatives /friends and now ownes a good property thru third party in the carribiean

Just because the judicial systems makes a ruling that you personally don’t agree with, does not mean that the entire system is corrupt and somehow open to bribery. That is the kind of stuff that conspiracy theories thrive on, unsubstantiated rumour and baseless speculation.

Yes , right. I my personal expirience I have seen a number of cases where people connected to the right judges and gouvernement officials were getting a multimillion prefferentials for contracts , lands , connections etc.

Just look at Trudeau shooting millions of $ at his friends and it is all fine for him.

Our gouvernement is pretty much disfunctional when to comes to major theft and fraud prevention.

Same story fraud story in Usa would end the executives of the Pride Group with 30+ years in prison and every penny would be taken away from them and paid to creditors.
