Pride Group - TPine

people leaving and cash flow problems, nobody will extend them any credit if you can believe that
I heard a lot of the staff at TPine are leaving as they find new employment. They were offered a lump sum to stay until they close but many choose to leave. Can’t say I blame them. It’s tough finding employment these days. It inevitable that the company will close within g the next 2-3 months so why stay?

I noticed their heated Tri's are gone from Labatt Mississauga, they used to have a bunch of'em there.

Lots of people that are there are afraid of not getting paid at some point. Employees and customers jumping ship at.this point.

Remaining TPine employees are protected under the employee retention plan so their pay is guaranteed.
For them that's not a problem for sure, for all the independent contractors and owner operators at Pride Group it's a different story.

and yet the ontario superior court allowed them to be considered as employees for the purposes of advocating for the sale of the company to the founders- a full audit by CRA as to legitimacy of the employer employee relationship should completed

Agreed, but good luck with that
When the inevitable happens there will be questions asked about how this was handled
