Too bad not too many jobs around these daysI know there a lot of owners on here so I’m asking that you all be considerate and open to hiring as there will be a lot of people looking for jobs.

Yes…..it’s really tough right now.Too bad not too many jobs around these days
Whatever happened and will happen with this company, let’s all say a prayer for the employees that worked hard and put up with a lot to earn a living.
They are the ones who will be paying the most for this catastrophe.

I was thinking more about the leasing employeeshow many were actual employees and how many were incorporated personal services business operators that were treated as employees but paid as contractors? Honest question - I find it hard to imagine that employment law was followed given the other shortcuts taken, but I could be wrong. Leasing the truck from Tpine and working as an owner operator (for PGL Logistics) doesn't meet the CRA requirement of financial independence given the actual corporate structure published, but I'm willing to speculate that logic was used many time to present as legitimate owner operator contracts.
Sold back to the original owners at a discount, live to fight another dayI read over the monitors doc posted and it does state that PGL is excluded from this Sept 24th hearing and the wind-down procedure as the finalization of the sale is on going.
This is why I’m saying, so t count them out yet. There’s more to what’s happening here, even if other divisions are said to be closed down.Sold back to the original owners at a discount, live to fight another day
so the question I have is:Sold back to the original owners at a discount, live to fight another day
The customers they have are high volume low rate, I would guess that as long as Pride can maintain the lowest rate they will receive the business.so the question I have is:
1. Was PGL able to function at low rates because they also had the web of assests/leases and O/O who couldn't leave
2. How do they regian customer confidence? or the lower you go the better the customer likes it
Lesson learned - honesty costs you these days ....
My belief is that they grew due to their lack of pricing discipline - the lack of discipline carried over into employment processes, risk management, and business practices. Its easy to price low when you don't need to factor in actual debt servicing into your capital costs. The customers they have are high volume low rate, I would guess that as long as Pride can maintain the lowest rate they will receive the business.
Don’t blame them for looking out for themselves and not waiting for the doors to close. They are not being told anything by management just what’s posted by EY. Very sad.Employees already started leaving and some I confirmed left already, We have 5 resumes from all Manager to dispatcher positions.

I wonder why the delay? You would think the everybody involved would want some resolution hereSale of PGL has been put off until Oct 16th
Just putting the employees through more torture so the family can try to hold onto the company. It’s all about them in the end. They refuse to believe they will loose everything in spite of what they did to cause this fiascoI wonder why the delay? You would think the everybody involved would want some resolution here
I'm amazed their even in the running for this company after the possible fraud they have been alleged to be doing.
