Finally convinced one of my largest customers to get a new broker, I couldn't be happier. No matter how far in advance I provide the customs (the second I book a truck in most cases) it didn't matter. I spent years on the phone with these idiots. Now my issue is not the fact that my clients are using Livingston, but other people still are. "I can't get your load today driver stuck at the border with a Livingston issue." We need to rid them of this earth!

Unless it is a CFIA shipment, then it is a whole different can of worms!One of their reps said just go to the office at the border and they will do the clearance there..................

BCB is having email issues since Friday ... will be having a guy at the border in a bit and no resolution yet .... fingers crossed
Livingston office closed for their lunch hour right now. They might have wanted to stagger it for a day or two.

Had a shipment on the weekend with BCB. The regular email for PAPs has been out since Friday night. they told me to use paps@bcbinternational.com. Cleared no problem.

Called Livingston just now and either got a machine or a live person reading a script saying everything there is broken basically.

Coming home currently. Luckily most of our regular outbound customers use good customs brokers.
Feel like we're going to have a bunch of in bond loads to take care of by the end of the week.

You might get lucky and they'll do paper packages at the bridge. Fort Erie looked after us last night.

Yes we are taking a shot at this currently. Fingers crossed. The people at the offices generally seem really good, it's just that ridiculous call center that really fuels the hate.
