You should have seen the tender to even get in the door on this one.....round one was give us your best rate...round two was here is our target pricing...give us your best rate now...round 3 was lets take all of the cheapest rates and lower them one more time...so..you going to quote? hard pass on each round......sigh.....

I finally get to add one ...
There is an Amazon lane up for bid right now. Brampton to Barrie. Two loads a day, 7 days a week. Requires 5 trailers and 2 tractors to do the job. Winning bid as of this posting is $100.00 per load, plus FSC which is about $50.00.
Should be up for bid again in a few weeks when dumbass realizes the repo depot is looking for the equipment.

Not to mention Amazon wants what 1.5 to 3 trailers now on each end for these types of lanes. So at the minimum that ties up 4 to 6 trailers a day. LOL I'm at a loss for words on how these guys are doing it and staying afloat.

on the topic of staying afloat, here's a great vid from "trucking made Successful" on youtube. This pretty much explains why there's little to no fall off in capacity south of the border but I can see the similar effect for us up north:
