Cheap Freight of the day

Don't kid yourself ... they're not. It is a certainty that no load broker or carrier went back to their customer base and said "Hey, the market is down so we're going to pass along the savings to you!". If that were the case we would certainly see some downward trending at the retail level.

Stoney Creek - Top load 10 pieces - Saskatoon - $200

We don't really run any further West than Ontario - but wow.
Would be even funnier if this needed a tarp. The $200 wouldnt even cover the drivers pick up + tarp pay..... SMH

My God! Havelock to San Diego is a smidge under 4300 miles. If someone took that outbound load they would need HUGE money on the back haul. I mean, I suppose you can’t blame a steer for trying, but they might as well set their “target”rate at zero!

"Well I had 5 other guys haul it for 0$ this week buddy, that's what it's moving for."

I wonder if it's going to go like the negative interest rates a year ago or so? Banks were paying the debtors or something like that.... Nuts! The Big Purge continues.....

Can't imagine anyone hauling it for that. Some shippers tender their loads out for cheap first, and if no one bites they turn to their regulars at normal rates.
