Cheap Freight of the day

its laughable to believe that a customer/shipper are selling their freight to brokers at that rate.
wont believe it sir sorry .
Some of my customers have done the same. I pick and choose among the bid loads that come up and leave the low rate loads alone.

Edit-forgot the subject line: $$$HAVELOCK ON-SAN DIEGO CA$$$
Well at least it’s San Diego not much of a dead head to meet up with the cartel for your backhaul

Believe it.

As someone else mentioned, some customers have thrown out all contract rates and every single load is a bid.

Some get upwards of 50 broker bids on individual loads.

Crossborder freight is also notorious for US brokers under bidding every lane.

her mail and saw that, she sent out to 35 to 40 brokers for 2 skids going across the border. I sent and email saying please don't send me any more bibs. Thank you.And that was the end of it..

Only 50? I had one pipe guy who had 700+ people bidding on his loads.. he was in no hurry to tender his loads out, leaving them to marinate for a week or longer sometimes. Bids were open for all to see, and clearly some were bids borne of frustration.. a few people bidding $20.00/mile plus fuel etc.. Hey, I understand.

I scratched out the rep's name. It's not really her fault. This is from Etobicoke to Marlboro Mass. The rate doesn't altogether shock me at this point. I have gotten used to offers like this. What caught my attention was the quote at the foot of the email in teeny tiny letters...lol
