Cheap Freight of the day

Man, try steppin’ in someone else’s boots for a sec. Quit throwin’ out cheap-ass rates just to stay movin’. Hold your line, no matter what. But honestly? Feels like nothin’ we do changes a damn thing, this market shake-up ain’t even close to bein’ over.
Some markets are already rebounding..there’s hope yet.

East Texas flatbed outbound. LA, AR, SC flatbed outbound to anywhere. California outbound (haha..just kidding)
US domestic market is definitely on an uptick if anyone plays in that sandbox.

I've been getting higher rates on TX Dry vans back to ON.

AB is completely dead though. People begging for freight to get them anywhere but AB

Yes Alberta sucks so happy to have a shipper there as the brokered rates are beyond dumb. Thinking domestic Canada may get a whole lot more crowded with the English language deal in full swing down south.
It should improve inbound rates though, at least I think it should.

Some states are not messing around with it. We sent one of our regular US domestic guys into a shipper in AR. Driver is Mexican, speaks perfectly English but has an accent.

He had to do a written test and verbal at the shipper. It was pretty basic and he passed without issue but was still wild to hear.

Just got offered a whole 500 bucks Mtl - Gta. I already had a load just wanted to test the waters with a carrier that quotes me super high all the time to see how they paid. They are now firmly planted on the DNU do not call or email list. Said he covered two at that rate already. Leave it sit boys the rate will go up.

We have one of these. Pay them a nice rate down to WV or whatever then they offer us almost the same rate from Nevada back to the GTA when we need a load from them.

Also, fewer people want to head south due to all the BS with the tariffs. Hopefully in a few weeks we have a trade deal that we can live with.
