You do know that she is a member of the far right ADF party? The same party that a German court ruled was a threat to democracy. Maybe a great umpire, but please stay on the ball field. Of course, she, like everyone else is entitled to their opinion, but I think I will listen to the non Nazis first.
So, because a person has a different belief, or view, than you they are a lesser person, and their opinion should carry less weight? I mean really, if there is a building burning down and that person yells "Fire" do you say "Naw, that can't really be a fire. That person is from a political party I don't like."?
I jest of course, but to me that's how your post comes off, even though I know what you meant.
All I was saying is that person's assessment of the situation, taken at face value, regardless of their political affiliation, seemed to sum up the situation rather succinctly.
In your response to
@Rob you imply that because a large group of EU members have a dissenting opinion of the members in question, the dissenting opinion, or opinions, is/are not valid. Who's to say the large group is right, or the small group is right?
There was a story in a really old book (that had been translated and rewritten about a million times by just about everyone who thought they had an angle) about this guy who claimed he heard a voice that told him to build a boat because it was going to rain a lot and for a really long time. Apparently, according to legend, this guy tried to tell everyone the only way they would survive the rainstorm would be if they got on his boat, but they just thought he was nuts. Who knew !!!
Perspective.
