Heard the same. A couple of their employees hit me up for work but were full so if anyone is looking for good customs/dispatch reps shoot me a PM.
By the looks of their FMCSA portal their insurance has been cancelled before their standard March due dates. There could be a number of reasons why that happens but if they're having cash flow / payment issues their insurance will cancel them very shortly after missing payments.

Yes have not seen them in a couples week across the road loading reefers. Lots of late model equipment headed for the repo depot. They will not be the last if some of you do not learn to say no if there is no margin in it.

There was news that they were being purchased by another carrier but than the deal fell through.

Trans Emerge in receivership Jan 22/24
I saw the following come through my email. This looks like it's going to be a messy one - there are a lot of people listed as PPSA registrants. I saw one of the units on the 401 on Saturday driving towards Toronto.
| Trans Emerge Transport Inc., a Mississauga, Ontario-based transportation company which specializes in heavy haul and refrigerated transportation services across North America, was placed into receivership on January 22, on application by RBC, owed approximately $10.7 million. According to the US Department of Transportation, Trans Emerge Transport has 125 vehicles, 150 drivers, and a pending insurance cancellation. Prior to the receivership, the company had proposed a transaction to pay back RBC: (1) through a partial payment from the funds held in the company’s HSBC account; and (ii) a party in the trucking industry, 1000711945 Ontario Inc., then purchasing RBC’s remaining indebtedness. However, the transaction did not close and, although RBC was successful in retrieving approximately $2 million from the HSBC account, a further $762 thousand USD was not transferred. In addition, there has been suspicious activity on the account and RBC has recently been informed that the company’s assets, including trucks and trailers, have allegedly been taken and/or are missing. msi Spergel inc. is the receiver. if they dig deep enough yes, Maybe? but I'ev seen some funny stuff lately where salvaged trucks and trailers, doctored up with new VIN's being sold off with no history on them. There isn't a carfax for commercial vehicles that I have come across so not really sure how one verifies the equipment.
Yes you can get Carfax for commercial. See attached
interesting, we ran a couple of our Volvos and they had nothing for it. Gotta try this again.

Oh, may be, trailers dropped at the customers or any drop lots, except official terminals, are not accounted for, eh ?

They're just trailers. I don't remember the last time I got inspected and the guy cared about the trailer besides the mechanical fitness of it.
