Kingston Transport/GHK - Tony

Wish I had read this before doing business with Tony and the gang at Kingston Transport Carrier or GHK or whatever name they are doing business as. I lost my 3rd best customer because they double brokered the load and delivered it two weeks late. Not only that, but their factoring company invoiced me for the total amount of the rate confirmation I originally sent them. Any ideas as to what I should do next as I do not want to dish out money for a job that they didn't do.
 
What to do?

If it were me, I'd send the invoice back to the factoring company for correction along with a note of explanation.
 
I wish I knew why factoring companies insist on doing business with companies like Kingston Transport. Don't they get a report as to what these guys are doing?
 
Thats's all they do.. go by the place on Bethridge and u'll never see any kingston trucks
 
Don't Use Kingston Trans

Picked up a load for me Aug 13, Mississauga to Edmonton (I wish we had seen this thread prior to booking with them). Was supposed to deliver in Edmonton on 17th. Traced it on 17th, and told truck didn't leave till 16th, but would be there by 19th/20th.

19th it was broken down in Thunder Bay. 20th, I was told the load was rolling and would be there Mon 23rd first thing AM. Never happened.

By 23rd 3pm, told it was broken down in Thunder Bay. Old lie, same load.

Once insurance got involved, then and only then did Tony get involved. Mysteriously (and thankfully) the freight was returned to shipper in Mississauga the 24th late afternoon.

Long story short, I DOUBT it ever left GTA. Call me before ever booking with Kingston or GHK. Once they have your freight you won't get them on the phone without *67 to block your number. Even then once they know who you are they leave you on hold til you eventually give up waiting. Continually told lies on the order.

I finally got it delivered today, 13 days late.

Call me before using these guys.

Tony was DNU'd from C.H. Robinson after his "Montreal Office" booked my LTL PQ-CA.

The rep in this office double brokered it to another carrier, delivered 8 days late, and had the nerver to make up a FAKE POD and faxed it to me after he told me it was delivered.

I called Tony to get the straight story, he said he fired the "Montreal Office" because of this.

These guys are plain crooks.

Stay away from Kingston Transport or GHC whatever - they just double broker!! That's all

I Had two loads go down the drain using GHK transport - also Kingston.

got the invoices from grand or RBA.... and sent it back with a note I'm not paying... haven't ever heard a thing since. RBA did confirm that they were charging back to GHK though.


don't pay them or you keep them up and running.

We had two dealings with them and got paid from Grand Financial - #905-738-6661. Excuse was it was at Kingston Log. office directly when it was really at Grand...painful! :mad:

Unless you have nothing to do and a lot of time and money to waste, don't give them anything ! Not even a call back ! nothing but big big problems !!
