Kingston Transport/GHK - Tony

What you need the 21st call to pay? Tried calling you man "Tony stepped out" "Ahh you just missed him" "He will be back soon"

What's the diff by showing everyones name? How about you go down the list of all the people who you have to pay and then you can figure out everyones name, get me?

You don't now who you are 204!!!!

Tony, when the majority of posts are from carriers saying you pay in the 120 day range, and there are no carriers backing your claim of 30-45 days, I think most will tend to believe the carriers over you.

Are there any carriers who can verify you have paid them in the terms you say you do?

I thought not.

No it doesn't and 75% of allare apyables are paid within 30-45 days.

ps: show your name! Just like I do. We are not perfect but we don't hide behind some user name.

tony@kingstontransport.com

I find it very interesting that you keep going off about user names? Where did you come up with yours?

I think I have been fairly obvious with my user name. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

Block Them Both - Kingston and GHK

I've previously posted regarding these companies and will offer this final update and reminder:

I had a load brokerd 4 times before it hit a truck (Tony took it under GHK and gave it to another provider using Kingston)...

Short version, was held hostage for several WEEKS as Tony owed big $$ to the hauling carrier. In the meantime as is food grade my customer produced new product to ship as freight was 'lost' in transit...

The load was NEVER tendered for delivery, never brought back to shipper, instead Tony decided to the the 'right thing' and dump it on a dock in AB (current storage provider is being screwed by Tony too).

Tony's advice to me was "Have your customer sue me, you have nothing to do with this and they will never see one red cent..."

Quite the wonderful guy to work with...

Do I now lose a valued customer or pay them the value of the goods? $8400... This question is rhetorical as I've already made my decision...

I'll say in advance that I don't intend to respond to Tony's intelligent response to this posting, it's not worth my valuable time.

I hate to see a Canadian business close but look forward to the day I hear Tony is finished in transportation.

DNU!!!!!!!!

Mike Jr - did you not file a claim direct to their insurance company? Do you not have 3rd party brokerage coverage and file to your insurance who would go after there insurance.

Yes, I've spent many hours from 03/02/10 to the final denail by the insurance comapny (06/11/10), of course they denied both the Kingston and GHK claims. "Please be advised that the cargo policy does not cover delay and, as such, we will not be responding to any claims that arise out of an uninsured peril."

I understsand the decision but not how it took over 3 MONTHS to come to this conclusion.

We do have proper insurance in place, my deductible is slightly higher then the claim amount and so pointless. I was hoping that my insurance company would assist with the claim...

BOTH insurance companies advised me the same thing Tony did. Have your customer try and sue the carrier.

I now have 6 months left to expiry date. Does anyone need 5 skids of honey graham crumbs? We are considering donation to a food bank...

Thx,
Mike

Do not use them. I caught them double brokering also !! If we complain to Load Link they will take them off for good !! Also GHK same company as Kingston Transport !!

Suggestions for 5 skids of Honey Graham Crumbs:

See if Julie can bake and have her drop some baked goods at my house--she knows where I live in G-town. Maybe have a bake sale to recoup some money.
Eddie:D;)

Reliable for awhile, then went downhill

I used Kingston very regularly for domestic canadian freight and they did a good job for about a 1 month period; then everything went down hill...extremely late deliveries....lying about the where abouts of the freight.....severe damage on 2 shipments....double brokering freight.....double stacking when not supposed to....

I have to say, I delt with Tony directly, and we settled for payment on the damaged shipments and late deliveries. We agreed on a 1 month payment plan and Tony stuck to his word. My clients were happy their claim was settled relativly quickly.

Unfortuantly I can't see myself using Kingston again given the numerous issues we experianced along with the various comments from other broker/carriers etc.

I wish I found this site sooner !! I lost a big customer of ours useing Kingston Transport ( AKA GHK Transport !! ) Everyone please read what everyone in the past says about this ROGUE Carrier !!

Love this site

So happy this website is available to us.

Kingston Transport has been calling us daily on our various postings. Thankfully we have not used them yet on anything.
We've got both companies now blocked. Thank you all for the info.
