Kingston Transport/GHK - Tony

Just an update...

Finally received payment from Kingston - and only after their account was shut off by Link due to the complaints they received.

The complaints do work!

Tony Gianfrido, he use to own GFS Freight systems and deliver furniture.

He got out of the inside delivery gig, and into Kingston. He will re-appear.

Good luck getting your $$$$

Wow ... what a coincidence.

A friend of mine that is in another business had a few trucks with his brother-in-law that he put on with GFS to run Canada, and Gianfrido stiffed him a few years back.

Yes I went broke, lost my licence, almost lost my home, still paying through trustee on my home by the way, drivers ripped me off (one in particular $ 30000.00 + with bogus fuel charges) I tell you this not because I want you to feel sorry for me but because I failed in a business - like many other people. We have proper funding behind us now. That doesn't mean life is great but myself and everyone who works at Kingston are certainly trying.

PS - don't hide behind a username

ONE lowly truck driver smoked you for THIRTY GRAND...I suppose this all happened in ONE Com Chek transaction also!

Any idea how stupid that comment makes you look?

Fuel theft

We have mostly loyal drivers that have been with us for a few years. I had only one retire last fall and I have worked with him for 18 years.

I just happenned to look at my fuel tax report for the 1st quarter of this year and compared it to last year.

There was a difference of only 1500km in distance covered for the trimester but we had used more than 8000litres less fuel.

What could have caused this discrepancy. I can attribute some to the mild winter and little snow coverage, but over 2000 gallons???

I suppose I must have had a driver fiddling with the fuel , it bothers me even thinking about it!

Anybody have any other theories.

Try pulling the same report for each unit indivdually. This should show you where the discrepancy is. How is the fleet mpg compared to last year. Does it make sense? Depending on how you collect the data there may have been a data entry error. We have found errors in our system in the past as we collect F/T info directly through the trucks ECM, we also have drivers manually report mileage and fuel purchases as backup. Good Luck

We just fininshed moving a trailer for them out west, and the fact that they wanted POD's right away made me a little nervous, any luck getting ahold of anyone yet.

pods

I would go back and pick-up that trailer!!!!

I need the pod's for our customers. They require it. Our load sheet clearly says we require the pod's within 24 hours. Our insistence on pods is so that we can turn money around faster. If you have any questions call me - DON'T WRITE ABOUT US BEHIND SOME USER NAME!
It's not professional.
