I have to ask ... Is there any real value in LoadLink?

there seems to be a post all you want but no trucks
Loadlink needs to control thepostings of trucks

They think they know what they doing but cant even police their own board for false postings or information

Ya I think they get kick backs you show them someone on there that has no authorities and yet they are still allowed to post or take loads but yet maybe Loadlink should be liable for any incidents that happen with their customers I mean they all should be legit no ?

Interesting. Based on the recent judgement against CH Robinson, I wonder if Loadlink could be dragged into a lawsuit if the carrier was sourced from a posting but proven to have no authorities, etc. LL claims to have robust vetting and they touted their own dog and pony show to help us spot the fraudsters but lets face it - the majority of us on here could have taught that seminar.

I just go back to my thoughts on Loadlink from years ago - it's basically just Tinder (or Grinder - I don't judge) for freight. Swipe right and take your chances.

Proving the load came via LL could be challenging, especially if that same provider handled the same shipper/consignee combo for that broker before.

But ya, I see where you're going here, anyone involved in the shipment could be dragged in...

Keep well,
Mike

You can argue the value but there are lanes that come up that it is good to have options. We would hope LL would have a decent vetting process but at the end of the day it is caveat emptor, do your own due diligence. In comparison to DAT in the US it is a ton better.

In spite of their assurances to the contrary, LL cannot guarantee or ensure that criminals won’t infiltrate their platform. Unfortunately, there are some folks who mistakenly believe that subscribing to LL will provide some level of protection against falling victim to the bad actors. It cannot be emphasized enough, that the responsibility for ensuring you won’t get scammed rests squarely on your own shoulders and no one else’s.

Always wonder how many transport companies and load brokers rely heavily on Load link as their key source for getting loads and selling loads.

Their board is full of false information. Carriers porting trucks that are never available. Loads that are posted by brokers that were covered days ago. Maybe just maybe they should spend sometime cleaning up the load board so there is accurate information for brokers and carriers

they need to clean up their act as there are other load boards gaining ground

If they cleared the board every day at 12:00 AM and didn't allow templates, every post would be freshly inputted in the AM during one's 'morning coffee'.

Of course, templates and posting carry over is a 'feature' they can charge for...

Just sayin'

Broker - "I see you have a truck in NB today?"

Carrier - "sorry auto post next truck is next week"

Broker - "oh well I have loads all next week, gives details."

Carrier - "sorry booked up"

Loadlink 101 right there
