Heard from one of my sources they've sold off their property on airport rd. There was some issues with the residents in the nearby area and got enough compaints from the city to force a sale.

The issue is they never had the properties zoned for trucking companies and decided on their own to create a mini Dixie and the 401 up on Airport Rd, Caledon is after a bunch of them with illegal yards up there.

Falcon Xpress Transportation Group Inc. et al., a group of Caledon, Ontario-based companies specializing in the transportation of retail, commercial and industrial goods throughout the North American markets, were placed into receivership on May 16 on application by RBC, owed approximately $17 million. The companies defaulted on their loan from RBC and a subsequent forbearance agreement. The companies were given a few weeks to repay RBC before the receivership came into effect but failed to do so. msi Spergel inc. is the receiver. Counsel is Aird & Berlis for RBC and Kramer Simaan for the companies.

FMCSA shows their last report (Jan2025) was 180 trucks. I guess the pressures of Caledon pursuing illegal truck yards is making it tough for some. Their address was subject to an investigation and subsequent fine/legal action by Caledon.
Falcon Motor Express LTD (MC485563) shows only one truck and has no US inspections or accidents over the past two years. Seeing that your TransPlus system shows the same phone numbers, addresses and email domain name it's safe to say that both these are the same company.
However, the documentation for the receivership does not show this company listed as a related company. Lawyers are paid big bucks to investigate any and all related companies so who knows why these similarly named companies are not linked. This company renewed their FMCSA MCS150 in March 2025. We may see that this is a back pocket, shelf company, being pulled out to be able to move assets over to.

That was my thought as well Jim. Just wondered if they had been linked yet. We had inactivated both profiles in our system. Thank you.
I would be very cautious. I am assuming that this is a 3rd company with a different MC # for the same group. All 3 MC #'s have a pending Insurance Cancellation.
They have advised us they are out of receivership.

Falcon Xpress has secured new financing and emerged from receivership. The company was placed into receivership in May, owing RBC more than $15 million.
