Gave them a confirmation load sheet to pick up from PA to TO. Confirmed rate and pick up time. Was told not worry will be picked up in two hours. That would be by 5 pm. Shipper closes at 7 pm
ONLY to find out they did not pick up. received email @ 8.11 pm.

Just got notified that Drivee was pulled out since 4 pm at scale and he got suspended for next 72 hours.

Sorry for inconvenience.

Called them several times no answer.

Now on our DNU List.
 
Another company opened with a very similar name to two other companies (also in the same area) who are much larger (combined the other 2 companies have over 300 trucks and 450 drivers) whereas the company you list here (MC # 127) has 10 trucks and 6 drivers.

I'm not saying bigger must be better, but I will say don't confuse these companies as there are several with similar sounding names.

I do understand. I was dealing with MC#127. My beef with them is they did not do what they said they would.
With no communication and not answering phone call.
 
Thanks for letting us know Markhamboy about these guys, I'll be avoiding them. We don't have them set up as a supplier at this time, but we do a fair amount of business with one of the other similar sounding companies. It's why this thread caught my eye this morning.

It might have been a one off. The only thing that pissed me off is they did not communicate and hid behind voice mail. not good. But they are in our DNU. I don't think they were pulled over.

Like Mike said you have to watch those events and analyze how the shipment will go with particular carrier especially when you use someone the first time but leaving aside everything my red flag blink when you try to match up your name with big companies in PAPERS ONLY. I have heard several incidents where the company uses a similar name and then airborne of all of sudden with some high-value load... I would be very cautious to use someone like this...

How about taking a picture of the ticket and sending it over? .......I will donate $100 to Inside transport if that OOS ticket materializes. Anyone else willing to chip in to see this ticket? A good bullshit story should be impenetrable, this one is full of holes and in the amateur division. They got loaded at that spot in PA that loads 24 hours after they missed you appointment at 7pm. Everyone's a "Group of Companies" nowadays.

Any carrier with an ounce of integrity should produce documentation if a delay was caused by a roadside failure, scale inspection, etc without the customer even having to ask for it. At least show people you give a shit about their freight.
