BEST TMS?

Truckmate

Truckmate, very old version, we are in the process of upgrading to a recent version. The version is so old I think it predates TMW Suite.

Tedious and cumbersome are the best words I can use to describe Truckmate
We might go to Truckmate, the newer one as we are on Suites. Our Armour division is on that, so I might try it before going out to find something else.

We're currently looking to change Tailwind - right off the bat we wanted to go with Rose Rocket because of the EDI capacity to connect to E2open.

But apparently, E2open a TMS for broker we could use. Anyone had any experience with them?

Hey all! Currently using Tailwind and their service has went for a $%&!

Cargowise bought Tailwind, cancelled their chat support which honestly was invaluable. Have not been set up in over 3 weeks for Cargowise's email ticket system. VERY DISSAPOINTED For the $ we spend.

What is the best TMS out there that allows for multi branch asset based carriers along with a brokerage division that operates 50 trucks? Or do most run separate software for Asset-based and Brokerage division?

Looked into Eleet, Trimble so far.

Looking for:
* Cloudbased
* Sync with QBO
* driver pay, O/O pay, accessorial tracking
* driver dispatch app with POD upload capability
* api integrations with DAT, LOADLINK, Border Connect, Fuel and more.

Appreciate your time in advance!

We use kalou.app and they have carrier and broker side to it which I really like - everything is automated on their end

Give it a try

I had a demo with Rose Rocket and liked what we saw for an asset based company and brokerage division. Currently with TAILWIND and they've totally dropped the ball in customer support since being bought and sold a couple of times.

Can anyone offer their comments on Rose Rocket, their support, functionalities and API integrations with other softwares?

Good day all,

I'm sure this question is beat to death, but what TMS are you using and which TMS do you prefer? We are looking to switch from our current provider (Tailwind) and go to something more streamlined and user-friendly for 50-ish Power units. Please feel free to share your experience.
We start using Aerothos ( ALS) recently. We were using them as ELD/GPS for long time. i would say this is much better and cheaper than Tailwind. We start using for dispatch and will be doing payroll as well. Also testing their dash cameras. will have every thing under one.
For me, most important is, company is local here in BC, and owner is reachable and get things done very quickly for any help needed.

Yes, we were using Tailwind and will be moving over fully.

We’ve had issues with Tailwind but I reached out to someone senior on LinkedIn and seem to be getting some traction. I have shared this thread with them and he said he would be sending it up the chain for some results. So much work to switch a TMS over so if we can see some help from TW that would be the best route!

We're currently with Tailwind and we are changing to Rose Rocket.
You can add / delete any fields you don't want, change configuration.
Very user friendly, a lot of automatization - you can just drag a PDF in the order creation and voila!
Took about 1 day for Rose Rocket to take all our datas ( Customer, locations, carriers ) from Tailwind and put them in Rose Rocket. Super easy. Great service.

it's not on yet, we are still working around and testing. We only took the ops side for now, January we'll get the module for AP/AR and all that jazz.

Tailwind bugs every freaking day, usually around 3pm.
Nobody we can reach, and it's super expensive.
Tailwind charges by users
Rose Rocket, by transaction. Unlimited users. and way cheaper.

All in All, can't wait to switch totally.

Well....a bit of a deception. There is a critical fonction we don't have in Rose Rocket that's a deal breaker. We'll probably go with another option since that cannot be changed / programmed.

Which is? We’re about to go down the garden path with RR and would love some insight

Thanks!

When sending a tender. There is only 2 options
Sending the ' tender ' as a link to the carrier, where he needs to open the link, then accept or decline the tender and download the actual Rate con. By doing so, the status on the load board changes. But there is no pop ups or anythign so you constantly have to check the board and never really know if something is accepted or not. Not all carriers have someone reliable to do the whole process and some carriers doesn't even have time to fidget with this.
Other way to send rate con, is download it manually, save on the computer, open a new email, find the addresses and send the tender. Which is way too much time involving.

Tailwind does send an email, but with the rate con attached directly to the carrier. We can then do tracing with the email chain.
This is unfortunately a deal breaker and our rep said there is no way to program this.

This seems minor to a lot of people but for us, it's critical.....

Don't know if I'm actually explaining correctly, in my head, it makes sense :D

Anyone have any experience with Truck stops ITS? we are demo'ing it so far and looks to play the part.
