Their phone# is listed on their email as 905-240-TNA1(8621) , no address when they email us daily as well. I googled the phone# to match aadress of 201-58 Rossland Rd W, Oshawa, and it is residential. We are wary that trucks are all over Canada but the business does not display a location suitable for so many trucks to be "everywhere". Google also shows them as "Trans North American" rather than transport north America.

Any info would be appreciated.

I drove by the location and stopped in to be sure and it is a commercial building and seems to be a legit company don't see any relations what so ever with Continental Freight
 
I recently picked up a cheque from CFM in Oshawa on Nelson St. I did 2 loads with them and received QP as my factoring company would not factor them, which I found out after I picked up the loads. I supplied the originals as they requested and within 7 days was paid as agreed.
I see that some carriers are having difficulties getting paid by them and thankfully I am not involved with them. I can supply the email and name of the AP person I dealt with if anyone needs it.
I have been having issues collecting from DK Transport. Anyone else? 3 invoices at 100 + days and no replies via phone or email.
Please help if you have some info.

Bill, what we have found is that they ask for originals so that they can impersonate that they moved the load rather than your company.
That way, if there is any issue down the road, there is no trace of you moving the load. This is an issue for carriers that are waiting to get paid and not asking for COD as at some point the money runs out.
if you check their CVOR online, its $5 to run a search, you will note that their CVOR and insurance was cancelled last year.

however... as you can imagine, maybe one of you moved the load for us, as VTL brokered it back out.
this is the reason for this post. just to clarify as I am not sure I was clear. We are only cautioning those being hired, that the load you are moving, is another brokers, and you are 3rd in line.

If you have an outstanding invoices neglected for payment by VTL Transport, located at 2600 Skymark Ave., Building 3, Suite 102, Mississauga, Ontario please contact us asap. In recent months, VTL has hired us to haul the freight; now refuse to pay. When we went to their office, VTL has called the police to get rid of our presence.
We are not looking to discuss the matter on this forum, please be silent on your opinion of what and how should we proceed. We are looking for other victims of VTL Transport fraudulent actions to file a collective report to Police Department for investigation of all individuals involved in scamming carriers and brokers.

any one else hear from VTL? I've been trying to locate them to receive payment that is 100 days old.... I have the cell number and office number, but no one answers. I have tried email and not much luck there either...
 
Hi Economy... do you have a number for Lega Trans.. are they associated with VTL?
