the only reason they want them is to double broker them. 99.9% of US carriers do not come to Canada and probably 1/2 could not point it out on a map.We are a Canadian company and staying away from carriers from USA poaching loads in intra Canada. seems suspicious if USA carrier wants Canada only loads
I know big alert comes on when seeing USA company wanting Intra Canada loadsthe only reason they want them is to double broker them. 99.9% of US carriers do not come to Canada and probably 1/2 could not point it out on a map.
a group of companies or the same company that uses many names to abuse systemThere's a group of companies that seem to be connected. They will send a representative to meet you and give you owner operators. They take a few loads and either demand payment or steal the freight. If this happens, call the police immediately. It's happening a lot with these companies.
Yes, they can; they are allowed one free move on domestic freight to reposition themselves for a load to the USA. No restrictions, so they could book a load from St. John's, NL, to Victoria, BC, then reload in BC for the USA. You say it's not fair? It was the only way to get our trucks into the US market; they had leverage given the market size at the time this was negotiated, and still would if we tried to change.US companies cant do inter-Canada loads so odd why anyone would give them inter-Canada freight to begin with
Not a really big deal as we have all discussed before for the most part the yanks leave Canada alone which is a good thing.Yes, they can; they are allowed one free move on domestic freight to reposition themselves for a load to the USA.
