Total Quality Logistics (TQL)

TQL keeps huge margin............. Was enquiring on one of their load and were paying $3200 USD, i declined. And now since they couldn't find anyone else, agreed to my rate of $5000 USD. On top of that, said will pay $200 USD extra if we can deliver on Tuesday LOL.
Can we imagine a margin of $2000+ on a load and we carriers are barely able to keep our head above the water.

TQL people are very arrogant and rude. We are doing their loads 2 years ago. In December 2022 they blocked us without any reason. We called them couple time but always got one answer " IT IS OUR INTERNAL DECISION AND CAN NOT DISCLOSE IT . We never delayed or double brokered their shipment.

Honestly, you are better off them. They are CHEAP and arrogant. Every single employee is disrespectful. Feels like they are trained this way or company policy to be rude to carriers.

A few years ago TQL asked us to pick up a Christmas tree load out of Sherbrooke, QC Canada.
When we arrived at the shipper which was the office of the client, they redirected us to a place next to a Christmas Tree plantation in the middle of winter.
There was a pickup truck waiting for us to guide us through icy and snowy roads.
We even had to get a pick truck to tow us up the hill.
Once up the hill we had to back up hill to a plantation with both side ditches and jackknife.
They then put a sling on our tractor and pulled us up!
They damaged our truck.
We still got the trees loaded and they were full of ice, snow and dirt.

When TQL initially called us to get the load done, we had told them we would charge 3000 USD.
Once we found out this was 90 miles from the shippers offices after getting the rate con, we asked for 1000 USD because this was a Saturday night delivery to a family farm in Maryland.

TQL had given us the contact number of the receiver before we knew the details of the pick up.
When TQL refused to give us more money for it, we simply refused the load.
The receiver was a old lady that wanted her Christmas trees and begged me to pick, deliver and they would hand us 4000 USD cash.

Then TQL called us back and agreed to pay us 4000 USD.
When we asked to be compensated for the damage on the truck which was approx 300 USD they refused.
Our company knew the shipper's owner.
He was a rich landowner from Quebec and owned alot of land.

After a further problematic load from Montreal to Brooklyn they DNU'd us.
The funny thing here is that I own several different sister companies and could have easily picked up a load under a different DOT.
We did not because we are civil.
But if this would have been 3000 USD instead of 300USD, we would have picked the load and lock it into our yard.
Nobody could have done anything because this is a Quebec juristicton case.

TQL we has a company can really run you down from the Montreal area if we wanted to.
Hopefully one day somebody makes them pay for their dishonesty!

Started my morning with a jackpot !! What am i gonna do with that kind of money?

That is $1.59 loaded miles and that too going to Winnipeg.

This is how they are collecting money to give that $200 gift card.
