they are in Brampton from last more than four years, i think owner who is handling more than 150 drivers is smart enough to lock the door instead of turning lights down. or atleast he can lock the door. during business hours they have staff of more than 20 in office, what time you went their and if you went their at night what was your plan ..........

Mark D, what i understood from your comment you hired a carrier SIDHWAN BET TRANSPORT to do load and you cross docked load at speedx facility. To my understanding Speedx just provided warehousing and x docking services to you. no transportation contract wasdirectly signed with speedx. you hired another company for transportation. To me you use warehousing service and must pay for that before picking up load. or set up credit line or account. you use service and pay for it. what is point of crying? i dont understand that. you had problem with third carrier sIDHAWAN BET, YOU DEAL WITH THEM for that. why you need to make excuse not to pay warehousing company........

dont wanna pay dont use someones facility, i use them all the time and they never ask me money for 60 days due to continous relationship

use this platform for positive information and real fact, and stop wasting everyone's time

I'm sorry you misunderstood my post but I was sent to this dock by Andy at Sidhwans request claiming it's where they load their outbound units. Once there they sat on the freight for 5 days then gave it back to me and forced me to pay them storage before they released it to the reliable carrier that got it down the road (MTS LOGISITCS THANKS FOR THE HELP STAN). They were taking it to New Brunswick before they lied to me for 3 days. It's nice of you to suggest "facts" about my dealings. This forum is for warning others about awful, deceitful, corrupt operations as well as praising good ones like MTS.

My concerns for speedx guys only because i am dealing with them from last eight years and never heard anything like this.

Good job MTS LOGISTICS, good to know so we can use them in future if needed.

It's under Sidhwans as well. Speedx could have billed their customer, (Raman informed me they were sitting on a $500 credit to Sidhwan) or been reasonable with the driver who showed up and happened to have $120ish cash in his pocket but demanded $250 cash and as an after thought added hst to that sum. Even if this was of my doing and I needed 5 days of storage on 9 skids (one of which was stored outside under one of the many broken down trucks) $282.50 cash is above industry standards for a LEGITIMATE warehouse. This is my experience with these two parties. If you've had 8 years of great relations with Speedx go to carrier relations and crate a thread and tell the community how and why they are so wonderful and I'm sure one or two of the supporting members will agree with you.

We've had nothing but negative experiences with Speedx. Used them quite a bit a few years ago, as we matched well, but the inconsistency in service and the complete lack of familiarity with truth in their communications put them solidly on the do not use list.

I have heard mixed reviews on SpeedX, but this is not such a small company to be a one person office where it could act as a pied-a-terre. I'd also say that is Sidhwan Bet made the instruction to deliver to SpeedX's dock, it's Sidhwan's bill for the warehousing. It's not really possible to know for sure if there is a relationship between Sidhwan Bet and SpeedX as companies, other than a business arrangement between them.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't understand your point. I went their and met there dispatch which at that time was about 5-6 girls and 5-6 guys sitting in a circle. I used to give them about 4-5 orders a day for over 6 months, but their service was always mediocre. As I stated that was the impression I got from visiting them. Not very professional.

I've seen my share of owners and trucking companies. SpeedX has a large yard and many trailers, but nothing in their offices looks professional.

To each their own how you want to take my story. I've seen enough from my side to steer away from them.

They're not in India. I think most people will tell you that they're not their favorite carrier, but they are not phantom. Probably just wanting to keep the fleet going. We have more units parked on any given day during this week and last than what is normal too.
 
look at it everyday and typically amazed with some of the trailers they have in their yard I certainly wouldn't trust them with my wagon when I was on the asset side............. also the couple of wrecks that have been in there since we moved to Brampton last spring, always nice to keep good for their image :)

Below are their comments. They even shared the double broker confirmation for me and both they showed me were over a $1,000.00 each load.

"We uncovered what appears to be a large double brokering scam in which a link member SpeedX Transport is taking loads from reputable brokers and reposting them.


Is there anything that we can do to communicate this to the loadlink community at large?


There is a concern that they could do a midnight shutdown and leave a number of us in a position where we will have to double pay."

This is the word now going around.

We all know SpeedX has been double brokering for years now. It's not really news.

My question is whether this is true: "midnight shutdown and leave a number of us in a position where we will have to double pay"?
 
They call on every posting. But even more, they seem to have a sales pitch even if the load is covered. They are looking for any business in any region. Don't get sucked in. We put them on DNU a long time ago, but even if we block them on link, we still get calls.

Most people who have ever used SpeedX know they double broker. It's just a part of business for them. If you don't want to risk it don't ever use them.

My issue is with the person that made that comment. Either they are new to the industry or they are going out of their way to make speedx look bad. Based on the comment on how much they paid to the carrier and how they are going out of business makes these comments useless. Anyways SpeedX sucks, but spreading rumors about a company is wrong way to vent out your frustrations.

I remember early 2018 often when I posted my trucks on Loadlink some imbecile from Speedx would call me asking "i'm calling about your load from Ontario to Maryland". Went on for maybe a month...they can't even take a minute away to teach their dispatchers how to use loadlink lol?

they almost double broker everything, we did a load for them once from AL in OCT turns out it was titanium's
funny part was titanium knew about this and they were okay with them doing so
 
We had a lot of issues with SPEEDX Transport in 2017 with late payments. We eventually agreed to a payment of all outstanding invoices plus payment on the current load before delivery. This was completed. We then did one more load with the promise of direct deposit 30 days from delivery. They failed and would not honor their agreement and finally paid in 66 days with copious amounts for follow up and payment. We have them on hold and set to - PBD - Pay Before Delivery. Since then, they have not agreed to pay before delivery so we have not matched on a load from them.
