Slow paying-- Brico

I think they will pay you, but you have to wait about 90 days to get your money, We got ours.

Call the Link

We have a couple of the same customers, so far so good, but please report to the Link, and if they do not pay me, then I will call also.

Complaints to the Link

Send an email to complaints@linklogi.com and explain to them that you would like to registrar a complaint, name the company, and the reason for the complaint, and they will get back to you usually within a couple of days.
After 3 complaints they call them and help you settle your complaint with them.

Why should a carrier have to wait 90 days to get paid from a broker when we pay wages etc every week Maybe if we stick together as carriers we can get things back to 30 days maxUntil load brokers came along I remember being paid in seven days

if only customers payed in 30 days - best way is to ensure they have trust accounts. keep your money safe.

Stop blaming brokers

Do you also remember what happend BEFORE brokers came along.... De-regulation! Yes the old days were great when you had exclusivity on a laneway and you could demand whatever you wanted to get paid and how quickly you wanted to get paid just by filing another tarrif with the rate bureau. The World has changed! The Government deregulated the industry, not the brokers. If you want to blame someone, blame the government. Free market competition changed the industry not brokers. The whole world is changing. All our manufacturing is drying up and everythings moving to China. You have to be competitive with the market. Don't be a dinosaur. You have to change with the times. Remember what happened to the dinosaurs?

P.S. - Brokers have weekly salaries to pay too!

interesting point of view pablo, nobody is saying all brokers are bad but brokers have built a bad name for themselves. your weekly salaries are a few % points of ours. we have drivers that need to be paid every two weeks and depending on our fleet sizes we have $50,000 and up to provide in salaray alone not to mention GAS, our salaries dont compete with yours. every broker or freight provider runs their business in a different fashion and maybe you run your business well but your competition seems to over spend on promotional items, bonuses, fancy expenses or just plain mismanagment and for some reasons the carriers , drivers who have long delivered the load and paid the drivers, paid the gas bills, paid the rent seem to be short. just my point of view.....

Titanium Logistics

Problems with Titanium past couple months - changed over their bank account beginning of February and said that was the issue. Speak to Carmine directly in dispatch - he puts the pressure on Kathy in A/P to get cheques out.

I do remember before brokers and collecting was not hard. Maybe the brokers will end up the dinosaurs with the economy the way it is. The money the broker takes for calling a truck would sure help pay for the extra fuel cost plus why does a company pay a traffic manager to call a broker who then calls the truck

Remember - more carriers broker freight than brokers do. A lot of the problems over the last 6 months were CARRIERS who shut down or went bankrupt, owing other carriers plenty....

Compass Freight
Mobile Cartage
LaSalle Transport
Harrow Truck Lines

Titanium Logistics

Called today - Kathy in A/P no longer with the company. Was corresponding with her March 25 - owe invoices from January. Not a good sign. Paul Gonzales now taking A/P calls - was put straight to his voicemail....believe this is the owner of Titanium.

Titanium Logistics

I was told by Kathy that Ted Daniel was the President ext 222 and Paul Gonzalez was the accounts supervisor. Remember to made a complaint to
The Link, (for non payment) it does help, but you need 3 complaints.

Titanium reportedly is now financed by Vic de Zenn, original guy behind Royal Group of Companies before all the fiasco and ultimate sale to some company in the US.

Titanium Logistics

I have had no problems lately, dealing with Paul has been much better. If he hasn't returned a msg go back and demand to hold for him. Be very direct with him. They owed from Nov. and he has cleaned it right up now. I also tell him I will be in to pick up a cheque 2 days after I speak to him.

Payments

As A Load Broker We Pay Our Carriers No Later Than 45 Days To Keep A Good Rep Out There, but Believe Me Our Customers Don't Pay Till 90 + Days, half Of My Days Chores Are Collections, but I Do Agree With You In That If You Deal With Brokers Who Don't Pay For Ninety Days Don't Use Them, they Won't Last Long And Maybe The Rest Of Use Can Make An Honest Living Out There.
