Sera Global Logistics

Hey guys.

You'll notice that I last commented about them 2 years ago and at the time it was true. Business with them slowed down but then our Carrier Relations Manager got engaged with Raj over there and we were looking to start something with them that was more collaborative.

We had a spot shipment go wrong though we verified that the problem he said he had was in fact true. However, a few weeks later there was another problem with a truckload shipment to PA that took 4 days to arrive. We were originally told on the day of intended delivery that he had a driver problem and even though that is possible, having multiple driver problems in a short time span doesn't bode well. However, we were told that the shipment delivered on Wednesday and only found out from our customer's customer yesterday that the load still wasn't there. Sera has been avoiding letting us know what was going on.

The shipment finally delivered around 12:30 today and the comment from the receiver was that the shipment was in disarray as if it had been taken apart and reassembled, and the driver showed up with absolutely no documentation, no BL ... nothing!

Their website is very weird. It doesn't actually say whether they are a carrier or a broker so I'm actually wondering if they are playing around by picking up with local cartage and passing off ... or something like this.

You all may want to stay away.

Does anyone know who owns SERA GLOBAL LOGISTICS? We are a carrier and we have outstanding invoices from Sera dating october 2017. We did not receive any payment from this company since the very beginning.

We had attempted to contact them every day for the past 3 months and no answer. Dispatch kept saying i will pass along the message but accounting or the owner never bothered to call us back.

worst broker. DO NOT haul any freight for SERA GLOBAL. They will not pay you.

Anyone dispatch freight to SGL?

Sera Global Logistics was inquiring about some of our loads today. When we asked for his WSIB he said he didn't have any employees, all drivers were temps.

Has anyone dispatched freight to these guys and how did it go? I'm concerned about double brokering.

PS - I've merged all the comments about this company to this thread.

Any references regarding him as a "carrier" would be appreciated.
They are only a broker. we are the carrier who handles some of their loads. if you do require any loads, please give us a call. 647 478 0178 J&R Hauling.

I've had a very hard time getting paid by SGL, I put them on our DNU list. I was only able to contact them by sending a quote request with my personnal email, then asked for a payment when they replied to me. (I know you are looking for comments about them as a carrier, but I tought this was good to know.)
