Work from home?
Gentleman and ladies.
Not that I want to rain on your parade, but we had an experience whereupon an employee worked from home. It turned out very bad, the reason being we could not oversee what the employee was doing.
With slightly modified fax numbers and carrier contracts and the address changed to a PO BOX. The sales agent used our companies good name to deviate revenues to his own account.
It is better to be able to supervise your employee from 8:00-17:00. Naturally with sales there should be abundant time allotted to visiting clients. A proper log of all leads and outings must be kept and followed up by someone in your office.
Since the sales agent was an employee of the company or acting on its behalf. the company is held responsible for the sale agents actions!!!
