So we pull a load for:
RPM Expedite
100 exhange drive, ste 8
Brampton, ON
Link TCC score of 90 something, and credit with us was ok. Issue is not getting paid for the load. But we load on Oct 8th in Quakertown, PA a meat load. Send all documents to Cole the broker they received and we confirmed. All good at that point driver carriers on. Oct 10th advised that paperwork rejected and we are to turn around and head to Detroit, MI. Truck is in Minny at this point, confirm turn around and additional costs on 1385 miles for about 3000.00 bucks.
Again we did everything we were supposed to, even confirmed with Cole that the customer was made aware on Oct 9th that the papers were rejected. No one notified us.
Needless to say RPM ( Ryan Bragg ) says we screwed up as we didn't call the broker back more often and says we are only entitled to $500.00 bucks.
Just thought I'd put that out there, as a carrier we do allot in good faith and once things go sideways brokers and customers do all they can not to pay anything.
Should have had it in writing on the Saturday that they will pay additional costs before we even turn around.
