well they are trying I am sure but I didn't give them mine they are totally a DNU now i cant find them on Load Link either maybe just looking in wrong place

I almost booked a load with them last week. Bella from Road Nova called, wanting to pick up a load from BC to Ontario. A couple of things sketched me out, they didn't have an MC, and when she advised that she could not fill out the RMIS It was obviously a no-go. Also was quoting $4800 when all other Van rates came in at $5600 plus.. Be careful boys!

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. Booked a FTL with them after they assured they would provide tracking link. said no cross dock and deliver by a certain date. it turns out they used a carrier that we do not use, who would have cross docked it and delivered a week after they advised. ended up having to pay that other carrier to return teh freight to our shipper because these con artists would not pay for it

These guys are not afraid to go to customers and threaten etc. currently we are taking them to small claims but the address is fake they are NOT at this location.
They send fake documentation to people and try to pretend they are a legal carrier.

If you used this company as a carrier can you please supply us with an MC number and a CVOR or other provincial number?
1000772647 Ontario LTD and RoadNova Trans does not have a CVOR. Being an ON registered corporation and having an address (listed above) as Mississauga, ON, they should have a CVOR. I cannot find an FMCSA listing under any of those names. If you gave them a load I would really like to know how you thought giving them a load was a good idea and based on what information. No need to look for insurance information if you don't have any carrier information.

I have a carrier package -- insurance cert, WSIB and CVOR, never set them up for obvious reasons

I stand corrected. My search by name last night failed to come up with something but when I search by CVOR number I get the information. I must've keyed in the legal name wrong. If you need more information that might be on the CVOR you can order an abstract for $5.00. Why brokers are not making that a requirement for onboarding is beyond me. This report will state how many trucks are listed on the CVOR, the number of km driven in ON, number of km driven in other jurisdictions, number of inspections with points and most importantly the Overall violation rate. Why take a risk with your freight when you have something available to give you so much information to make an informed decision.?
Wow dodged a bullet with this one... They dropped their rate from $3k to $2200, but then after several attempts to try to get a hold of them they told me they covered their truck lol. Prob couldn't find another carrier to broker the load to lol.

We are a carrier and we took several loads from this road nova company. We are currently taking them to Small Claims court. We would love Anyone in Ontario to join us to get this company shut dawn and show proof on how many carriers they do not pay , scam and double broker. . They are very aggressive and they horas everyone for payment. We managed to get 1 payment and Stopped 1 broker to pay them. They are demanding payment from us for the load they double brokered.
If anyone has a good paralegal or lawyer We can use some advise on how to deal with these Scammers. Please contact me on this site if you are interested.
