Pentagon Logistics

according to safer web, they still have active insurance and are have a bond. File a claim against their bond?
That's an excellent idea boxermom!

I must admit, I've never done this as I usually rush straight to small claims court...

Can anyone tell me how to proceed with a claim against a bond?

In regards to this post, did The Chicken ever find Glen? Did The Chicken open a Can of Whoop Ass? Was mom still involved? So many unanswered questions.
I ultimately had to set this one aside for some time as I got quite busy this year... Not that we are busy with freight of course... haahahaa... but busy doing the job of the other office staff we laid off... :(

Nevermind, I think I've got this figured out...

Called their bond holder - Southwest Marine and General Insurance

They are emailing me with a claim form now.

Thanks again for the suggestion @boxermom

Pentagon Logistics was an authorized FMCSA broker. If you have a valid claim, file it with their insurance before the policy gets paid out.

I tried reaching them but i was told to file claim though my broker.
If you can help, how did you file this claim?

Hi @FLATLOADCA

If you are having trouble still, send me a PM with your email address and I will forward the claim form to you and where to send it. I'm out of the office for a few days next week, but back in on Thursday and I would be happy to help if you are still stuck.

Alls well that ends well as they say... For me anyway... Filed against their bond as @boxermom suggested, back in July... Got our cheque from the bond holder this week. Paid in full surprisingly...
As we say around here when things go as they are supposed to: The System Works!
So there does seem to be value in dealing with a properly registered and licensed freight broker. Of course, dealing with a properly run, well financed broker who doesn’t run their operation into the ground, is even better. Good news for you Johnny Chicken!
