Looking to see if anyone has worked with these companies. They are apparently sister companies
Omni is located in Edmonton, Speed Freight in NB
 
Their insurance companies say policies are active, but something feels off. OMNI out of AB, says sister co, who link has listing for out of NB and same cell # for both.
 
OMNI is in Calgary, but has a 416 #, never heard of Speed Freight, but is in NB, same phone #. This is the newest trend...to incorporate yourself someplace you're not....you just don't know who's who anymore?? Used a NS company recently, turns out their address is a pizza restaurant, and on the invoice it was stressed that payment HAD to be sent to a Brampton address
 
Omni Trans of Edmonton, AB is currently holding two of our loads hostage. Completely fraudulent company.

Thankfully its only a few grand vs others they owe.... Dont pay them!!!! Lets the cops get involved...

Thank you for responding. Do you have any of their contact info? Any idea where they may be holding the loads?
 
Just to be clear, the subject of this thread shows OMNI Freightlines, but the conversation is about OMNI Trans.

Same Company?

We have OMNI Freightlines Active in our system under MC 99007, also out of Edmonton.

I believe i read in a different thread on this site that these OTAL guys are linked to BVD somehow as well? how are these people getting away with all of this for so long?

I can't find the original comment, but I seem to remember it was that BVD was involved in a factored invoice through Omni or Speed.

I was seeling this company to guy name KULDEEP OTAL out of missisauga he didnt transfer it completly and start using it and double brokering loads and holding them .
Too much goin on
He didnt pay 3 party carriers and everybody was calling me as i was still the owner
When i came to know abt this fraud i stopped all access and loadlink access but he was able to pick 8,10 shipments and hold them at crossdocks location
Now shipments r npt delivered and law enforcement is getting involved
He misuse my company and pretending its me who did all that and owe him money
Too much stupid stuff going on but

Update your system and ur friend companies tell them as well
