anyways, hope this gets resolved and all parties come together for a positive resolve.
 
A lot on ON drivers moved to MB for the Work permit - PR program - now the points to qualify for the PR application are too high in MB - so there will be an exodus of drivers back to ON ....
There was a protest just a few days ago in Winnipeg about this ... so it's 700 some points to qualify and you get points dedcted for having studied / worked in another province prior to MB ... so they lose 200 points and don't make the cut

Truck driving schools used to charge CAD5000 for the MELT prog - now they are reday to train them for CAD3000 as there are no more students coming to MB .... hopefully safer roads as students realise they are being exploited

When BC introduced the melt it was like 11k now schools are doing it for less than 5k. Crazy
 
To update everyone so that we can prove our innocence, the load will be dropped at one of the 3rd party cross docks, Either the shipper or the broker may feel free to pick up the load from the warehouse. BA Cartons or L3M can send their people to inspect the load before it can be loaded onto their truck once the payment is made to us.

That is the worst case scenario for a carrier who promised to get paid on delivery to receiving company..

Although their fleet size may be different domestically, the FMCSA Safer shows that Gilson has 1 truck and 3 drivers. How many broker dispatchers use this tool to at least get a feel for the size of the "carrier's" operation? There is more to vetting carriers then going with the cheapest.

So it goes L3M>Gilson>Tesla>NFF.
NFF being out for 3 loads including the one in their possession, are within their legal rights to hold the shipment in their possession until the freight charges on that load are paid. A carrier cannot hold freight for prior unpaid accounts.

As we all know, Kuldeep Otal is transportation's version of Covid-19. His companies mutate to a new name once the heat is on.

If you end up with the situation where (........................ [ insert Otal's company name]) will pay you immediately after you deliver the freight, but he claims he doesn't want to pay you in advance to ensure you deliver, an easy remedy is to suggest to (........................ [ insert Otal's company name]) pay the freight charges "In Trust" to my paralegal company. Once the freight delivers and there are no exceptions, the money would then be released to the carrier.

BTW, my spies tell me that there is no activity happening at his warehouse in Orangeville, so maybe that's why he's going back to GTA area cross-docks. I guess I should change my "Avoid picking up freight at 50 Centennial" to avoid picking up at cross dock facilities in the GTA".

On every Otal full load showing a generic shipper name (Crossdock, Trinamacs) and a distribution/deliver company in Calgary or Vancouver with a seal on the load will have the true bill(s) of lading just inside the rear door. You are not really affecting the integrity of the load (foodstuffs) and drivers can always bypass the seal. If you don't know what I am suggesting, PM me.

Finally, when your driver picks up a load from them, maybe he should make notes or take pictures if allowed on the dock to oversee the loading. As well, the (........................ [ insert Otal's company name]) will always ask for quickpay so don't do quickpay with carriers unless you have used them at least 30 days before.

So looking at these rates - they make no sense - for example:

If MB - GTA is 4000
how can AB to GTA also be 4000??? ... do they do the AB to MB miles free????

If GTA to WInnipeg is 4800
GTA to AB is 7000
So why are the MB to AB miles not free now?

First of all thank you for doing my job. (I don't understand how come you have so much spare time to waste - may god bless you)

Secondly, Do you really think its a right thing you did? I am just an employee doing my job that I am getting paid for( and I hope you all understand that). And whom so ever is supporting this, think about it twice.

I don't think there is any need of dragging all in this useless long conversation where in my team have clearly said that we have the load and will deliver it when we get paid. We never denied that we will not deliver the load. We stand with our words and will follow the commitment.
