Correct. But I learned all about them on here. Obviously some people who have gotten rooked by them have not used this valuable tool called Inside Transport.

As both myself and others have said before, if you receive a negative post from someone on this site, the best response is a well crafted, thoroughly thought out rebuttal, including all the pertinent facts. In my opinion, this carries much more weight and respect than a hastily composed, grammatically incorrect, or worse, a one word post relating some poorly described perceived injustice.

Must be a really slow day at the office if you get your entire workforce to write 5 negative reviews and an inside transport post over a cancellation. I would not wish this type of slow market on my worst enemies.

I agree.. a dispassionate account of the facts is far more valuable than a vague statement like.. "they're scammers".. they're assholes" etc..

I've removed the posting that contained a general statement without detail in the thread you are concerned about.
For all:
This volunteer part time not really working in transport anymore moderator is more than happy to help you out with legit concerns, but if you think anonymous people making general statements without context or detail and who ghost you when confronted are affecting your business you need thicker skin and smarter vendors/customers. I will not dedicate my time to audit every post here and neither should anyone else. Posts from people who say who they are, who post details of their experiences and who respond when questioned carry 10 000 times more weight than 3 word posts from people who hide behind a keyboard. In my opinion.

For everyone's benefit, there are real world consequences to what you publish online. Just because a person is hiding behind a pseudonym, as is the case with this forum, does not mean they cannot be found, and forced to explain, and/or prove, their statements in a court of law. If you are asking my opinion; It is a worthy journey.

Hi Mike,
For sure, most things I delete here are simply hidden from public view and are accessible to moderators and Admin.
So people know, and you should: when you post something here and then either delete it yourself or edit it each instance of the edit is stored, kept and accessible to Moderators and Admin unless a Mod or Admin 'permanently deletes' it, which we don't really do.
I may have permanently deleted the posts from a kid that used to work for my previous employer who was intoxicated and wrote a bunch of silly things about me. He was a coke head loser so I didn't see the need to keep the posts around. He can try and sue me if he wants, I never mentioned his name, honestly I don't think I recall it now anyway...
I did have one guy, really angry one come to my place of employment and try to sue me for $500k. He said that my being a volunteer moderator made me accountable for the content on this site. I guess he never went through with his action as after the original paperwork was served to me I never heard from him again. Another loser. It takes all kinds of people to make the world go around I guess.

I can very well agree with you, nothing is ever permanently deleted from the internet no matter how much you try. In a business setting, we should be mindful of what we say and think twice before posting. I've seen guys getting sued for making tiktoks against their ex-mega fleet employers. No opinion is worth getting a judgment against you so it is advisable to only state facts you can back up, the courts will not care for speculation.

What that dude said is untrue. As a moderator, unless you specifically ask for it, you cannot control what another person posts. Even if you take it down immediately, and "delete" it from your forum, it is not really deleted. There is a digital copy of everything, somewhere. In that very nanosecond that a person posts something, it is digitally copied, and forever a part of the internet.
(Psst ... that's why they call it a "web" ... LOL)
