This is pretty normal for this website IMO and needs to be addressed. I appreciate when individuals are providing information. But my company has been a victim of this and I have addressed this with the moderators rather than directly responding to the accusations. The moderators have yet to respond.

Fortunately we seem to have a fairly intelligent community on this site and most users will not refuse to use a company when they see one comment like "MISTER FLATBED DUM" with no further explanations.

My company has been denied loads because apparently we double broker. I don't like to lose loads because of what someone said 4 years ago. It's extremely egregious and damaging to our reputation. If we're willing to address accusations head on with the moderators rather than engage in internet arguments with the accusers, I think the moderators need to take this into account.

How do the moderators know who to believe?
If we can't share anecdotes we've had with carriers/brokers, how will we gain any insight into them?

First, I reached out to the individual who made the accusation privately asking them when the incident occurred. No response.
Once we were denied a load on a Friday due to that individuals accusations, we reached out to the moderators to assist because it has a material impact on our operations.
I think we took a responsible approach. But what processes are there on this forum for companies that are accused of wrong-doing without a process to mediate?

Lets put the mods aside for a minute. How does anyone know what to believe if they haven't worked with a company? Like @Bobby12364 said; he was denied a load due to @satan s false accusations. I'm sure we all know which company I represent and this forum has had a slight impact on our business as well due to members agreeing and giving the nod without proof.
Might be hilarious for you to watch and get an afternoon read in but this forum does hold weight and is weighing down on people who are a victim of false, unproven accusations.

obviously his name is not Satan... your missing my point. choosing a name like that says a lot about his character, morale etc which affects his business.

Your first point is kind of true. But I won't not use a company on here if there is one comment of "XXX company sucks they are on our DNU".
I will however not work with National Freight Forwarders, or GillX (or their associates), etc because of things I *have* read on here. I may be missing out on something wonderful, but that is unlikely. Our company got bad reviews on Google about a year ago for some reason (honk! honk!) but anyone with half a brain can read between the lines on that one.
It's not up to the mods to mediate or take down a post saying someone had a bad time with your company, otherwise anyone with a bad review on here could just have it deleted. If someone says something about your company that you feel is false, state your case and move on. Most people here can tell the difference between the correct party and the butthurt party.
