Montreal Express Transport

This is how Montreal Express operate:

They have NO trucks even though they tell brokers and customers that they have.
They double broker all loads
After double brokering the loads - they make it so difficult for the driver to be paid - although the get their payments within days (quickpay method)
The office is still at the same place - 180 Wilkinson Road, Unit 31, Brampton
They make out that they have a finance person (Ela) - there is no Ela - the only 2 fraudulant people working there are Amanda (a big fat girl) and a guy called Bill.
They make money by bidding on loads through PowerDat - they dont really care what the rates are as they have NO intention of paying the money to the driver.
A few of the people that they owe money to: Dixie trailer park, Jas trucking and someone called Richard from Crazy Horse. These are just a few - there must be thousands others.

We all need to get together and get these companies to stop operating the way they are.

Hi Larry, It seems like not much gets done about this when you report it to the police.
However we did our home work on"East West Refrigerated Transport" , went to the police and I dropped the whole file off to them and said I am not expecting anything but when someone has the time they should read everything I left on the counter and walked out.
Who knows one day hopefully something gets done about these types of businesses as to me this is nothing other then STEALING.
 
I havent dealt with them often. the only dispatcher there i ever had an issue with was Deepak. i will try to find his name. Stay away from this nut job. the rudest man i ever spoke to. He was fired back in the fall and i have had no issue with them since. 19 loads, 39 days for the last payment.
 
I actually booked a load last year with Montreal Express - I do remember speaking to Amanda who was a downright liar - she said the load had been picked up over the weekend and clearly it wasnt as Deepak cleared this up with me - the only reason I let them still have the load was because of Deepaks' honesty. Im not sure if he is still works there....i doubt it as they are on our DNU list and will NEVER do business with them again. I also have a driver working for me who did a few loads with them last summer - he is still waiting on his payment for his load!!
 
I have dealt with only 3 dispatchers there. I located this guys name Deepak Veerma. He was fired last year but this guy couldn'tell the truth, at least to me Larry.

They have been calling on some of our freight postings on Link lately but they have no profile and Link customer service could not find them when we called in verify. They say they have been in business for 25 years but I haven't heard of them before now.

That is a PO Box - they operate from from an office in Advance Blvd, Brampton but they have NO trucks and double broker ALL loads

Like I said - Deepak was the only one telling the truth in that office - maybe that was why he was fired - Amanda is probably the biggest bull *hitter there.

Really dont know if you are part of this Montreal Express Scam - certainly looks like it from your comments - but you must be the 1% of the people they have dealt with and got paid without getting lied to.
 
Also, can anyone let me know how Montreal Express are even allowed to bid on loads.......Somebody told me they have no load link and use another companies' access code for powerdat....surely this is illegal?
 
Larry. Just giving you my experience with them. I rarely have ever made in negative comments about any carrier. In this case, i dealt with Deepak Veerma. I had acutely dealt with him at a company he worked for before Montreal. I have no idea why he left that company. But i do know he called me again before Christmas from another company. I later learned he was terminated from there as well. All i know for sure was when he spoke to me, he was a very arrogant individual and i was happy he had been terminated. They are on Wilkinson road, not Advance. Sorry that i spilled my guts, but this guy was too much.

You do seem to know a lot about this guy - when he was terminated and then calling you again....very strange. I have spoken to a few companies in the gta and they all do have a very negative say about Montreal Express - I know I certainly did dealing with that fat girl Amanda - she is so rude and arrogant makes Donald Trump sound like the pope.
 
HOW CAN WE STOP THIS COMPANY FROM OPERATING - THEY REALLY ARE MAKING TRUCKING COMPANIES LOOK BAD...THERE HAS GOT TO BE A WAY!!!!

It's clear you have issues with this company, if you have no more details or tangible evidence to discuss, please stop posting in this thread. I mean that some of the postings below have no real 'content'. Absolutely, when any of us (members here) have been burned we've been frustrated and emotional also, but spamming the thread with rants isn't really going to accomplish much.
