Oddly enough, one of those chicks at Momentum Road would call out of the blue and try to chat me up and get rates but never ever saw a stick of freight. Needless to say, that girl's charm will only go so far.

If they aren't planning on paying you anyway, what does it matter how strict your terms are?
They probably have other broker friends who are on the link, they call them to see who has trucks and where.

Received a D&B "alert" on Momentum - they have been carrying forward in the red $80K (Dec - Jan) - it is now up to $90K since February.

PM me about this Michael Kelly.He had previous names for his shady operations; Mega L Corp and Continental-Freight.He ripped me off for $2400 and I tried to contact him many times...even went to his house late at night.He didn't live there anymore but the lady residing there told me that we weren't the only ones after him for money.

So our dispatch tried to do a load with them last week. Or so they thought. Order was faxed over on momentum road dispatch form. I said "no way credit card only". Come to find out later after the load was cancelled that, the load was from a tracey from momentum road who has apparently left there and opened her own deal called "nexx gen". However, what really makes sense is that she is still using the momentum road dispatch sheets. This sounds like the beginning of yet "another" new company to stay clear from.

Not to be confused with "Next Generation" who is a really good little carrier out of the Kitchener / Cambridge area servicing Michigan.

I would not advise to work with Momentum or whatever new name. I am sure in few months we will see another "Momentum" company with same people in the office. And Tracy will be calling for rates on behalf of other companies. And she will never call you back. And if you will work with them you will be paid in a year or so if you are lucky.

Hmmm....all I see on Google Streetview is Longos and a UPS Store (Danger! Danger Will Robinson!) and houses on the other side of the street. 1235 Fairview appears to be the street address for that strip mall where Quiznos and all that is. I will bet that this is the UPS Store. There wouldn't be any suites in a strip mall.
