Called their customer again. Within a half hour Renee called me that she was cutting me a chq today apologized for not returning my call yesterday I said I've been leaving msgs for a month no one answers the phone or returns a msg. She was amazed and said she would have a word with the receptionist about that. We will see what happens.

Thanks everyone who posted there thoughts on this Thread. We did a load last week for Momentum. When I read the problems you were having we called Momentum had them prepay the freight before we delivered it. Thanks and thanks again. With this site we can keep the rats in the gutter where they belong
 
they really respond when you go after their customers. There is no receptionist, they all just answer the phone, tell you no one is there or put you on hold indefinetly. Your best bet is to have someone go in and pick up the cheque or it will be lost in the mail for another month.

It has come to our attention as of recent that there is this forum which is deliberately making slanderous remarks and defacing our company.

As per our conversation last week a cheque has been issued to cover your just recently due invoices.

I would however like to thank you for posting that you intentionally called our customer prior to the invoices coming due. That made it really easy for us to explain your integrity to our customer.

I would suggest that you no longer partake is this childish slander as it has all been documented and provided to legal counsel.

:cool: one of their customers has begun paying carriers directly and holding back the broker portion of the rate.
 
Merriam-Webster definition: Slander: the utterance of false charges or misrepresentations which defame and damage another's reputation.
Interestingly enough my interpretation of this thread is simply summarized using a common accounting term "slow payer".
I would imagine if Momentum wants to improve their reputation and eliminate banter between peers, they would simply make payment within the terms noted on all invoices.
I guess my world is simple...
 
Momentum seems to respond only to legal action. I had to file in small claims - sent papers over - cheque showed up with the court fees paid also.

It takes alot of time and persistence with court filings but most of these good for nothing brokers don't want legal trouble or carriers "snooping around".... They would rather just pay and have you go away......

I Spoke With Elizabeth Yesterday And Sophie Answered The Phone
Apparently Our Chq Was Mailed On Monday
Of Course They Still Didn't Have A July Invoice And Had To Fax That Over.
They Have Been Cod Since July When All Of The Postings Started.
I Am Crossing My Fingers.
 
Im still waiting for my chq that was mailed in december...ive tried calling a few times but Elizabeth is not returning my calls.
 
I can't believe the word isn't out yet on this company. The only way to get a response from them is taking legal action or collecting from the customer directly. They have no intention of paying anyone - this has been going on since last Spring....
 
We have a judgment against them and now are trying to collect. If anyone has any banking info please let me know. Thanks Ps I have been to the police department and started a file on this company. The police told me that if I can get another claim that we can charge them with grand theft.
 
Have you tried showing up to their residence address? They all work out of one house I believe...any luck with collecting from the customer or did you exhaust that route already?
 
We did a load for them in June and all we get are the same old stories everyone else is posting. I wish I had of seen this site before then.Have any of you been paid?
