A few more recent companies you can add to the list that these guys are operating under...
Cargolocity in Mississauga, General Express in Vaughan, Professional Logistics Group in Toronto.
I booked a load with Cargolocity. The credit reference sheet, I came to find out was bogus. They listed General Express as a reference, which when I looked up the # was for a Michael Forest in Woodbridge. The fax listed was for S. Nardozzi in Woodbridge. The Professional Logistics (which comes up as Bizniz Mgnmnt Services on Yellow.ca) listed some guy with many names that was trying to think of answers. I asked if they were related to Cargolocity and he said "no". I asked if he was a carrier or a broker, he said "carrier". I told him I needed his MC or CVOR # and after much stammering, he said he didn't have access to that.
I called back to Cargolocity and asked about my findings and she outright told me she didn't know who Michael Forest was or why his number came up from my search.
I wish I had of found this link earlier.

I agree ... something is wrong here.
The only one of these 3 with a website is MCS. Go into the website and you'll find it's well worded and everything, but it seems like it does everything for everyone and is king of the world, like with hundreds of trucks and intermodal containers, bulk containers, you name it... like Logistics Nirvana or something. But ... it says they are in the GTA, but under contact us ... no address, no phone number. Just email addresses and when you click sales, guess who it points to? Michael Forrest.
I'd say a case of misrepresentation for sure. And if it's a broker with no website, you all know how I feel about that.

As per Dave at this Cargolocity, they are having cash flow problems. He asked for a 2 week extension. I questioned him on the connection with MCS and he said they worked with them and said they did not have the same owners. He went onto a speil about having many partners and U.S. companies they work with...blah blah blah. I am more positive than not that he is the same guy that answered the phone at "Professional Services" who claimed to be a carrier and couldn't provide any authorities. Will keep this one updated.

Yes, we finally got all of the money. They sent $500 via Western Union and then 2 post dated chq's that actually cashed. There was no address on the chqs what so ever. I show the address on 2895 Derry Rd, #318 but if you research back, they are at 5915 Airport Rd. suite 800 or 801 (MCS is in suite 800)
