Linehaul Logistics

Yes thank God nobody was hurt, This incident could have been a disaster to say the least, This is bad enough what did happen hopefully this driver will not be behind the wheel again.

I would simply call them and tell them you would like to provide some anonymous information and ask them if they require your name etc. I could imagine there are other workers out there that would like to bring a problem to light but don't want to lose their job. They must have a procedure in place for anonymous information.

I just want to let everyone know that LLI is NOT run by a good person, he has lost more than 5 employees in one year! He screams and yells at his workers daily, makes them "invoice" for payment as a contractor so he doesn't have to pay any taxes (isnt that illegal). Very racist...all and all not a good person. Please be aware and also do not work there.

Unless you are employed by LLI - I am curious as to why you feel the need to get involved here? We have all unfortunately witnessed foul treatment of others in the workplace at one time or another. You see this a lot at the retail level - a poor sales clerk getting their head bit off by their 'Supervisor' in front of customers. Most of the time these incidents are completely unwarranted and the Supervisor just looks like a 'total jerk'. But majority of people who witness this poor treatment - stay out of it - as it is not their fight.

If employees are being treated poorly - it would be up to them to take charge - do something about it and complain. Report their working conditions to the labor board. If you still feel the need to report this yourself - be prepared for the can of worms you are potentially opening - anonymously or not. If your identity becomes known or is required to validate the claim - you could be a witness should the matter escalate between employees and the employer of LLI. They will certainly want to know what your connection is to LLI.

Just my 2 cents....

I agree with AccountsReceivable@DRC. I had assumed that couldhavebeenavet worked there and that is why he/she wanted to make a complaint. Maybe I didn't read carefully enough.

I also don't think it is really appropriate for an outsider to complain either.

This is a sharing Website about trucking companies, I was merely advising what goes on there. Regardless if I had worked there or not employees are not treated well and YES it is their responsibility to take action; although they wont because they are literally scared of Lorne. He claims he was in the MOB and will break legs lol....I am looking out for my fellow worker.

We have worked with Kat and Yvonne at Linehaul - without any problems what so ever. Both women strike me as being the type to not take anyone's s*** so I am finding it very hard to understand where you are coming from.

(They did pay slow - 65 days - but they did pay.)

Hauling Ass - People put on a good show on the phone my friend! again, I am merely advising my fellow trucking workers what goes on there. Take it as you wish

We've done work for LLI Linehaul Logistics for many years, we were always paid on time. Now we have three invoices about to have their 100 day anniversary so something must be wrong over there.

We had the same issue - did work for them every week. Our payables got higher and higher and longer and longer with no end in sight. We stopped service at Christmas 2014 and was eventually paid for everything. We had to hassle them a lot to get it though. Their last invoices were paid around 140 days.

We did get paid for all three old invoices, Kat was dissapointment I didnt call her direct and ask her for the money............I called thier customer instead.

The A/P administrator told me invoices are scheduled to be paid between 45-60 days once they approved by their controller. So I asked if the controller had approved my invoice and I did not get a reply.
Last time it took over 120 days to get paid. But they do pay at the end. Question is do you want to wait that long.

Years ago I bought a bunch of corny "Happy 90th" birthday cards. I would mail them to customers who were approaching 90 days with a copy of our invoice attached. Didn't always work but it sure got their attention. Worst case scenario was that it brought a smile to someone in an otherwise depression job and maybe got us moved up the pile a bit.

Good one! Mind you the employees at this company are great. It's just the payable practice that's not very professional. Unfortunately with them you have to run after your money early on to get paid.

We sent first invoice in Feb 2018, followed for payment close to 30 days, i was told payments are at 60 days mark. Looking at your feedback i think i should be following up on regular basis

In the past few years collection from LLI gotten much worse. Currently our DNU list. At first they advised us of changing the terms of payments to 60 days, however, there is not a single invoice that was timely paid. After numerous emails and phone calls payments are made for invoices reaching 4 months of aging.
