Dont even know where to start, 30 seconds of due diligence would have prevented this. You tendered to a carrier with no active authority

Yes its more important than ever to check on carriers. Due diligence is a must

Sounds exactly like the alldays scammers that also claimed to be from SK. Talked to who they claimed to be their insurance broker and it was a fake COI sent from a fake insurance company email.
