Thanks Mike Jr, that's the same reason why I didn't jump on this right away (as I usually do!). If we knew more about caper, and whether or not he was a broker, shipper or carrier, then we could make the call if this was a case of double brokering or not. In any event, if caper does decided to use the services of a broker, stand alone, or logistics division of an asset based carrier, he would be well served to ensure that they are properly licenced and insured as a broker. Not just for his sake, but also for the protection of his customer.
