DNU Bestway Cartage/Fastfrate Group

Are they still in business? Lines are working but seem like no one is inclined to answer emails anymore. Especially when you are trying to give them business.
 
They are not what they used to be. Tough to get anyone to answer the phones.....and even tougher on emails. It's too bad.
 
It's simple. They are using call display to take freight from people they like (people that pay them solid rates for the freight they are moving). They take Rob's call because he treats them fairy and not just looking for the 'best rate'. It's been nearly a yaer since I spoke to anyone at Bestway, but this is the impression I was getting at that time and I'm sure it's continued. They are the only company tired of tire kickers.

I can't believe it's been nearly a year since I left southern Ontario, where does the time go?? :)

ff and bestway set the rate, they dont haggle like Scarborough town center carriers, if you dont like it get lost.

What sucks is for them to take 12+ hours to answer a simple quote, but normally when they reply it was well worth the wait

service is horrible, transit time sucks

Price is awesome

That may be the case.
I have been told understaffed.
It could very well be that CFF is filling up their trucks, which allows them to pick and choose who they prefer to take freight from. Good position to be in either way.

In my opinion, other carriers that shadow their lanes, provide better service at the same or better rates without the hassles.

Wow, they have fallen big time. Robert and John in US dispatch quit. CSR contact was pretty upfront with me on my shipment being at their dock and daily update with not the best news each day but at least I had news.
Unless my customer says "get there when you can", definitely would stay away.

Too bad, they were a good carrier to deal with on some of my lanes.

I saw on Linkedin that Robert has left Bestway.
