Christmas parties and gifts

This is funny. The broker better be a big player in my AR to send this out. Never is all my years have i seen this at Christmas but I have seen it for a golf tourney etc folks will reach out for prizes etc.

Agreed, you gotta be 6 Figures for this type of treatment LOL

Are you close with this broker? if not then that's quite the email to send out to your carrier list. I understand for customers, we have a few great clients that send out these emails to their carriers because they have a policy that doesn't allow direct gifts and we gladly will donate some cool prizes but for a broker, it just depends on how close you are with them.
did two loads all of last year ... so yeah not sending my $0.50 in

I dont understand the "Because of this" ! Why are they asking for help to recognize their employees? And I love the last sentence how Don Vito if you want any loads out of us will be greatly appreciated and recognized if you give us something! Love this time of the year

I do recall quite a few years ago, regularly receiving unsolicited Christmas gifts from some of our carrier partners. Nothing over the top, a gift basket of some sort, a large box of chocolates, or my personal favourite, a bottle of booze or LCBO gift card. This practice seems to have fallen out of fashion in recent years with only one or maybe two suppliers stopping by with a gift. Never did we ask nor expect such generous offerings. The only people allowed to ask for Christmas gifts should be children,
