Not in most places, our owner ops use our cards and we charge them the fuel back. Better for them as they can get fuel at a fleet price rather than retail.

Plus when a company closes and has no money to pay owner ops, at least you are not holding the purse on the fuel you purchased for the trips that are not paid. Have seen this scenario play out many times, my friend

Exactly, its the best way to do it!

Yes, I understand that, but a true owner operator bears the cost of the fuel purchase as an operating expense regardless of if it was purchased on a fleet account or on a personal card. Previous post made it sound like the expectation was for the fuel cost for the owner operator should be reimbursed to them?

Being a TRUE O/O I don't have fleet discount and bear the cost of fuel and paying bills according to due dates.
And it's FUN!

Easiest way is to always ask the dispatcher for help with whom you booked the load.

Same with us, can't get through to any extensions. They owe us over 75 days. I keep getting different responses in regards to payment date.

We are working with Charger Logistics from almost 3 Years there pay time is good but sometime you have to upload your invoices thru their portal

They are now using their Lawyers address in Alberta. I guess Ontario insurance was too high for them.

Sarcasm for now Yes !! But question is why would a large fleet change their head office address to a lawyer address. could be a mistake or who knows? like no one knew about Pride until it was a breaking news. Thousands of people wages rely on such a large fleet, any news can create havoc so top management always play tactically..

This is an office tower and the unit #1700 belongs to McMillan LLP.

looks like another carrier MC#954633 operating as DT Freight LTD once changed their address to 1700-421 7th Ave SW Calgary back in Nov 2017 and by March/April 2018 had authorities revoked.
