^^^^ ... LOL, that's funny.
I'll give you the story so far.
1) Rapport with CG seems to be pretty reasonable.
2) Carrier setup was actually quite painless, and fairly simple compared to others I have experienced.
3) The "Contract" ... this is were there are a few issues. It's really a point list of terms and conditions that the carrier agrees to. There's nothing in it to protect the carrier, but there's also nothing in it to protect CG either.
a) The first point no one in there right mind would agree to as it's worded, so I crossed that out.
b) The second point just requires a little negotiation between the carrier and CG, which as far as I know has been accomplished.
c) There is a clause at the bottom that I personally don't care for, so I did not sign off on that part.
d) There's no place on the document for CG to sign off that there is an agreement in place, so in the end, the document isn't worth the paper it's written on.
4) A load was offered, but CG staff booked that with someone else before all the details came to me, so we couldn't connect.
Currently I'm sitting on the fence. I can't say one way or the other whether CG Groups is good or bad. So far the experience has been generally positive, but in the end, it takes money to buy whiskey, so when we actually do come together on a load, I'll let you all know how it goes.
