any suggestions on carriers?Just putting it out there... but what about a Rolltite Moffitt option?
Most of the common carriers won't touch a TG crate greater than 72" wide. Hell I wouldn't wanna catch it if she started to lean or tip.We have experienced the same reluctance from carriers to tailgate high skids/crates. There is a safety concern involved unless perhaps there were two people on the delivery.
That was my next option@EricG : worse case scenario, ship it in a regular van and call a flatbed tow truck at delivery site.
.Just a thought, eh..
They should be there.. Mostly use to carry 4x4's or AWD's which are quite popular latelyThat was my next optiongreat minds think alike... Freight is valuable, so its prob going to move as a TL @ $6400 instead of LTL, just can't find an LTL option we are comfortable with. The flatbed tow is an idea, waiting on client to confirm we can tilt his $100k crates.
